Had a terrible experience with support not believing that a unit wasn’t working but the matter was put right by a supervisor after I left a negative review. Still, the issue remains where the app doesn’t notify you if the unit stops reporting. I don’t check the app every day as I’m quite busy and so can forget if there’s no notifications, meanwhile the pool water chemistry gets very unbalanced. App needs to notify if unit fails to check in.

So I can’t recommend Water Guru highly enough. I have been a Water Guru customer for 3 years now and love being able to get reading on my pool water everyday. The system works great to notify the user of their pool readings and is easy to setup and use. I can’t say enough good things about the Support from WG as well. Every time I ask them a question about their equipment or the app they get right back to me and have the answers I am looking for. Thanks so much WG for being a great value, a great company and keeping my pool maintenance to a minimum! Would recommend anyone who has a pool get one of these and go enjoy your pool with perfect water!

Love the device and the app, but a simple feature such as uploading an image of the pool has been malfunctioning ever since I’ve owned this and has persisted despite multiple updates to the app. Please fix this nuisance

Love the WaterGuru but still lot receiving any “advice” on high alkalinity or other numbers other than Ph and Chlorine, those work flawlessly. I have both emailed and called on this twice … no change. Also I noticed there is no manual way to clear the red badge notification once you have taken an action. I like the fact that it notifies me but once I take an action the notification should be cleared

Update. Changed to 5 stars. This is one of few companies that listens and reacts to customers. Using this example in a business meeting next week. Impressive Nice product and app. Only problem is the cassettes required are constantly on back order or unavailable all together. Awesome letter from the CEO offering loyal customers to purchase one cassette for more expensive pricing. What a joke!

While WaterGuru has helped maintain a crystal clear pool, the app itself is extremely buggy at times. Some times, the app doesn’t want to connect with the actual device in the skimmer, other times it will measure twice yet only record one measurement time (two sets of values appearing in the app within minutes of each other, yet only one measurement time in the history - and the “days remaining” counter decreasing by 2). Recently, I decided I wanted the device to test the water chemistry an hour earlier. I went into my settings and changed the measurement time and the app said the new time was saved fast forward and the device does not automatically measure the water anymore, and the app keeps setting the measurement time to “00:00am” no matter how many times I change it.

No phone number. Chat bots or email or customer support chat. My very first order of chemicals was incorrect, not what I ordered, not what I needed. Been 2 days of dealing with chat bots and customer service chat and at this point I don’t know when I will receive the correct chemicals. Meantime my pool chem balance is getting worse and worse. I will have to go to store and buy chems on my day off tomorrow to balance pool. Kind of defeats purpose of having the machine telling me what I need and recommending a product and home delivery when it the wrong product arrives and I have to then go out and buy the right stuff anyway . I like the machine and the app. If the customer support would just have a phone number to call or even communicate better and respond to communications more quickly I could give a better rating but this customer support is very very very disappointing. 06/25/24 I am guessing my review prompted a response from customer service. I received an email yesterday stating that the product I had not received a week ago is being shipped. So last shipment took 2 or 3 days so I should receive it soon. I’m glad I didn’t wait for this resolution. I did go out and buy my own chems and balance the pool . The developer left a phone number in their response to my review but this is a week after the fact. So you can tell I’m sure that the customer service has not sold me at all but I will say that I do love the guru anyway. It gives me a daily update on my pool , it’s easy to read and easy to use. I fired my pool company and do everything myself now with the help of the guru. If not for the slow response from what they call the “back office” I would have given a 5 for a review of this product.

Won’t let me upload my picture of my pool and numbers don’t change. Chlorine 10 PH 8.5. Even after I make all the adjustments and I go to Measure, it gives me the exact exact same reading each and every day.

Read this review to the end! I bought a Sense unit a few years ago. Last year I upgraded to a Sense2 because I was having trouble with the original unit. Unfortunately I could never get it to operate properly and so I’ve spent the past several months emailing and live chatting with tech support, all without resolution. Then someone gave me a phone number to call and I met WG employee Miss Joan. She stuck with me and called me back multiple times through several issues I had. She discovered my app was trying to connect to the old unit! She helped me connect it properly and now it’s working great. The 5 stars are for how much easier it is to care for my pool using this app and the WaterGuru Sense2 unit. No more tester strips and guessing what the more obtuse readings are (like phosphates, calcium hardness, etc). With the app I have all the info I need at my fingertips. As for Customer Service, I would would give 6 stars if I could. I hope WG hires many more like Joan! Altogether, this is an awesome product in my honest opinion and well worth it, even if you may have to work through some quirks in the beginning.

The product is great and easy to use. I set the test for 1am and check the resulting the morning. After years of struggling to keep my pool chemicals balanced, I finally found the answer.
