Waterspeed Pro is available on a 1 month or 1-year plan. You can subscribe and pay through your iTunes account. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Auto-renew can be turned off anytime by going to your Account Settings in iTunes after purchase.

The subscription is valid on any Apple device sharing the same iCloud account (you just need 1 purchase for all devices).

Waterspeed exports your activities into the Apple Health app.

I use this on my Apple Watch Ultra for Sailing so I can see my speed and record history and log my activity and although you can do this for free it is very limited. Unfortunately the pricing for the full features is expensive and exaggerated and I refuse to pay so much for subscriptions. This should be a one time life time purchase at this high price point not an annual subscription, sorry guys but greed has its limits

I had an ‘issue’ with a recent update, submitted a Support Ticket and waited a week for a response. But when I finally came back to check on things I had received two or three messages from support resolving the issue. I was the delayed response! 
I look forward to using the app for my Fall racing series.

This APP is awesome. Love hope it accurately shows my sail path and speed variations. It has accurate, local weather information. And, it’s saves my days on the water by date, allows me to include images of my day on the water as well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is wanting to track on the water and see upcoming weather and wind forecasts. 
I had a question for the developer and it was answered within a couple of hours. Best APP for sailing at a fantastic price!
