## WATO Walking Together Description
WATO - Walking, together. But competitively.

WATO turns your daily steps into a simple game: see how you stack up, push friends on the leaderboard, and keep streaks alive when you’re in the groove.

Steps that stay in sync
WATO reads your step count from Apple Health (HealthKit) and keeps your totals updated so your rank reflects how you’re actually moving, without turning your walk into a workout log.

Groups & codes
Create a group in seconds or join one with a code. Your crew shares the same energy: who’s on top today, who’s coming for you, and who needs to get off the couch.

Leaderboards & rivalries
Climb the board, watch the gap to the next person, and use a little friendly pressure as fuel. Streaks and stats help you see momentum—not just a single lucky day.

You, in the app
Pick a name, an avatar, and a distance style that feels natural. Sign in is simple—email and a magic link—so you can get walking fast.

More to explore
Journeys and milestones, sharing wins, and ways to give feedback are there so the app can grow with the community.

Notes
WATO is built for people who already track steps in Health. For the best experience, allow Motion & Fitness / Health access when prompted.

Walk more. Talk less trash. (Okay, maybe a little)
