Wattpad - Read & Write Stories

When writing stuff below images, the images tend to swallow the text. Basically the text goes behind the image and messes up all your work

I would like the old version where I can actually see the descriptions of fics before I read. I would actually like to scroll and briefly read the descriptions before deciding to read it. Now I gotta manually tap and read the descriptions and pick it based on cover which to be honest (is stupid what if I pick one and the spelling is bad. Then another one has a weird cover but good spelling and grammar.) All in all. I. Do. Not. Like. This. New. Update :)

It’s an amazing app that I’m on 24/7 everyday when I’m not busy. You can either just read or write stories or even do both it’s free to download 5/5 definitely recommend

I love Wattpad! It’s my escape whenever I’m feeling down! But for some feedback! For paid stuff maybe you can advertise people’s stories if they pay for premium? Just suggesting you don’t have to do it but I think it would make more people join!

I love this app. It’s very entertaining and I love writing my own stories but please give me more creativity with usernames !! You can only use letters and numbers ( Can’t even use . ! ? ) it has to be six letters long and it can’t be something somebody else already has ?? These rules make it soooo hard to make a username I actually like, and when I actually find one it’s already taken. I love adding exclamation marks or cute symbols to my usernames to make them stand out and I can’t even do that. Plus my main usernames are J.C or Sumo. This is a good app just please please please let me have a cute username 😪

I’m quite new to Wattpad, but it’s been working fine for the month that I’ve had it. But this morning I logged onto wattpad and noticed I had 14+ notifications. I click on them, obviously, only for it either go freeze the minute I tap on the notification symbol or load for a bit and then kick me out. I’m certain it’s not the device I’m using, Ive tried resetting my wifi, updating the app, refreshing my iPad/phone, but it doesn’t work. This glitch has only happened for about 5 hours but I’m worried it wont go away. Most apps ignore small reviews like this and I assume this one will too, but I just thought I’d give you (and readers) a heads up. Thank you for your time, sincerely, Aliesse ❤️

I’ve been on Wattpad for 10+ years and I’m so sad to see how downhill it’s gone. The addition of paid subscriptions, limiting offline reading, removing private messaging were all bad enough but the nail in the coffin was the removal of one of my stories. After a successful book that is 10 years old, i decided to start writing again as I felt my skills had increased and writing was helping me work through my mental health. To come one day to find it had been removed for “content violations” was so disheartening and upsetting. The worst part is that you can’t even get in contact with a real person! I tried to submit tickets to say it was wrongfully removed or for a specific reason and only received AI generated responses. They even threatened me! That if I kept submitting duplicate tickets then my account would be removed. You’d think they’d have more support for their authors but no. If you’re thinking of starting to write, find another site because using this one will just end up in disappointment.

Where are my stories????? I was writing a good story idea but today when I tried to load it I found my written stories no where, just thought it glitched so uploaded something random but no! Where are my stories :(( I don’t even have them saved :((

I really loved this app to read different stories but now you have to pay big $$$ to read the stories. Disappointed & will be looking for another app that’s free. Most of the stories are badly written but you can let it slide as it’s just people trying to write a story. Bet this will NOT make it to reviews as they want to hide that now you have to PAY…
