The app is great but the ads are absolutely ridiculous. I’ve been reading a 22 chapter book and had an ad between nearly every single chapter it’s annoying asf.
Why
Okay tell me why whenever I’m finished the chapter today only today there’s already an ad every single chapter even if it’s five words add do you know how when suffering that is here am trying to read a nice story and it’s at a cliffhanger swap to the next one chapter and add that is so insufferable and you have to pay to do that which I get it that’s how you make money but are you serious other than that it’s really good really good stories most of which interesting plots but that’s because of the writers
What’s with the ads!
It’s so insane how many ads there are now i cant even read one chapter without a 30 second add which I can only skip halfway through it’s outrageous and hard to enjoy reading like this
Issues
Despite paying for a second year of unlocked stories and no ads - I am now constantly being forced to view ads between every chapter and locked chapters. Used to really enjoy reading with Wattpad - now not so much :(
App is getting worse.

App not loading
Wattpad good and allat but tell me why I woke this morning to it not even loading it kept telling me that I need to check my connection so then I was like maybe it needs to be updated so then I updated wattpad and it still is doing the same thing by telling me I need to check my connection and how syncing failed I also tried closing the app and opening it again it’s still doing the same thing. And mind me I do have wifi I literally changed to my other wifi thinking it would work but it didn’t.
good but as a writer it’s sometimes annoying
i write and save my work on here as drafts but have been needing to back up my writing on my notes app as wattpad sometimes refuses to save my work or just deletes it entirely. it’s been happening more frequently now and it’s undoubtedly frustrating. just before i lost 30 minutes of writing because it didn’t save properly. fix this or i’m not using the app anymore.
Love wattpad but HATE the ads
I’ve had wattpad for about 3 years now. Loved it, helped me through rough times and met my imagination run wild. But over the time I’ve had the app. It’s become SO money hungry and the amount of ads I get is ridiculous. I can’t get through one chapter with about 500 words without getting an add each time

hi, I accidentally logged out of my account but I thought that was okay because I have my username and password written down but when I typed it in it said the account wasn’t found in or something. So as a second resort I made another account and tried to find my account so I could still have my reading lists and stuff, but when I searched my account name NOTHING CAME UP!!! I’m so annoyed and frustrated and upset because there were some really good stories I had saved on there and I’m now upset cause I’ll probably never see them again :(( WHAT DO I DO???
