Stuff that could be upgraded
This app is great but, I don’t like how after every chapter there’s an add and am not a fan of how you can only have 2 offline stories as a limit .Very disappointed .

increase offline library to five at least
Way too taxing
I pay 175 rands per month for wattpad(it is a lot in my country) then I still have to purchase coins in order to finish a story??You guys know wattpad is basically direct towards teenagers yet you charge so much? Where do you think we get the money???pmo
Disappointed :(
The ads after each chapter and getting logged out has really made the user experience unpleasant. I used to love the app but since reinstalling it I really am disappointed. If you don’t pay for premium or patreon then the app is honestly not great so I had to let it go
Just a money making scheme
Stopped being a platform for millions of people to come together and share their stories a long time ago. My breaking point was when Wattpad stole my story along with private drafts by stating certain guidelines had not been met, which is false and unfair as they have no problem keeping stories up with toxic narratives so long as they’re getting some coins in benefit :). Decided to unpublish all my works and bid the app farewell for good because it’s obvious it is no longer what it used to be.
Frustrating
I don’t understand why the app keeps logging me out, also it constantly lags when I’m not connected to the internet and it gets so bad to the point where the app completely freezes which irritates me.
The adds are to much
I started reading on wattpad when Anna Todd was still busy writing After, waiting for her updates made it soooo thrilling. Wondering and pondering of what is to come next. That I can take, because the authors are taking their time in creating the perfect next chapter. These days all that Im waiting and pondering about is when the add will finish or when the next one will pop up :(. I love the text to speech feature as I use it to shut down in the evenings and not have my phones screen in my face. Instead of what is supposed to be a 15min chapter of listening and slowly drifting off, Im interrupted 5 times by a audio add starting with “just a message from our sponsors” and then it’s an add for another book :/. This is honestly really upsetting.
I’m happy but disappointed
I love the stories and just of the app. The only problem I have is that I just moved from a Samsung to iPhone and the problem I have is that I can only read 2 stories offline than the standard 25 stories . Plz fix it
I’m done with the app
So I first used wattpad 8 years ago, and I loved it then. So I wasn’t too mad when the developers introduced premium or paid stories. Until today. I downloaded the new update. And now the app kicks me out all the time. I can only read for 30 seconds then I’m kicked out. That’s crazy. So this made me realise a few things: 1. We pay for premium but the developers don’t use the money to actually make the app worth paying for. 2. The ads have become ridiculous. Sometimes you get two ads before a chapter? That’s crazy. 3. Finally, the plagiarism? It’s out of this world. Thank you for the previously lovely app.
Coins not reflecting
Signed up for a free week and premium but got 15 coins in total and money went off instantly from my account ...what's going on..
