## WAVE Local News Reviews in United States

### **--- "Connection Isuue"
Really doesn’t work anymore besides getting notifications.
Just see the advertisement and the message
“Connection Issue
We’re having trouble accessing the internet. If you are on Wi-Fi, please try changing to a mobile connection and try again.”
Does it on WiFi and mobile data.
-- Xpio24, 2025-06-01

### *---- "( is app a joke? Really, um -)"
Does not show the correct story / FAR too many ads, and all over / unclear how to find most current versions of news . Deleting it - yes, right now between severe storms when we all need access to essential information and quickly - because WAVE app is literally more aggravating than useful.
-- Another Goodbye wave, 2025-05-18

### *---- "Links to X"
Nobody wants to click on the X platform to watch a video. Please post original videos. Some of us don’t use X.
-- JMBT 2, 2025-03-13

### *---- "Sold out media"
Don’t waste your time trying to read local news or get breaking weather updates because the second you click on it, you’ll have a 30 sec ad pop up before the warning of possible threats. Deleting the app and using whas11
-- Jakeinky502, 2025-01-15

### ***-- "App with live stream"
I like this app but for some reason, when I stream the morning news, the stream does not have pip (picture-in-picture) capabilities with my iPhone. IE, when I switch to another app while streaming, the video stream simply stops. Same thing happens when I switch to landscape mode.
-- MrWoof, 2024-06-11

### *---- "?"
Do we need really need the arc advertisement after reading every single story and sometimes in the middle of a story. I’m gonna research the other apps and see if if they do the same thing this is ridiculous.
-- Scrabcrab, 2024-06-05

### *---- "Bob"
Biased news reporting at its worst.
A news channel should only report facts and let the public form their own opinions.
-- wak345, 2024-05-31

### **--- "Worst news app ever"
It’s all commercials. In emergency situations when you just want to watch the news live all you get are commercials. The WDRB TV app has a much better user experience. The WAVE TV app is not worth the download.
-- MargoGlynn, 2024-05-27

### *---- "This is a terrible app!"
Wave TV is a fantastic local station. But who ever designed this app needs to find a new job. When you open the app you don’t get a welcome or even a notice saying this is Wave. No, you get full page advertisement trying to sell you something. Why don’t you look at the WHAS News 11 app or every other news app in the world and see if they have a freaking advertisement when you open them. That plus the app is so disorganized that it looks like a kid put it together. So, I’ll be deleting Waves app.
Thanks
-- Bungalow Bob 13, 2024-05-27

### **--- "Font too small."
Can’t make the article font bigger
-- Im crazy right?, 2023-11-15
