We absolutely love using Waze when travelling. Lately I’ve been entering it for even short trips around town to find the quickest way. One request to developers is to please allow more saved addresses than just home and work. I would like to add my daughters school, my grocery store etc. a “favourites” would be ideal. Thanks a million 🤩
Notifications are very late, specially inside roundabouts! By the time it tells me to exit, I’ve already gone past my exit!!! Absolutely rubbish finding any small villages, north of Sintra (Portugal) ! Appalling !! The latest update is awful ! Now the voices are like Google and even worse, it keeps repeating the same instructions way too many times! I already turned a corner and it still repeats to turn again (even though there’s no more turns). But the WORST: it still gives exit/turn notifications way too late, as I’ve gone past them, it says to exit - too late !! It was such a nice app to use and now you killed it !!!! There’s no longer sound, even if my phone is not on mute ! We went through a roundabout, before the app notified I had to go right at the roundabout ! We also missed a left turn, because it only shows to turn at 40m before the turn, which is not enough, as turning lane is 100m long !! Need notifications a lot earlier. I no longer can search for a business in a particular street, as it shows results for the street only (not the business) ! Very disappointing. Previously: BUGS GALORE ! It no longer speaks the entire sentence! It starts speaking a notification and goes mute halfway through.
I am following the instructions after that I could not verify my birth. I have just downloaded a useless application.
Been using Waze app a lot but it freezes on GO button frequently in recent time. iOS 17.4.1
In 2017, my 5-year-old daughter helped me record custom audio navigations. We had fun and I used it for a while. Now, I haven’t used Waze in 2 years, and had even uninstalled the app. Today, I reinstalled Waze and was delighted to find our custom audio still on the app! Hearing her little voice again brings back happy memories. I highly recommend recording your kid’s voice in Waze so you too can be delighted with a precious time capsule on your daily drive.
The app works absolutely excellent the down fall I hate to this app is that mobile speed cameras are marked as police which can be a big hassle at times. Would be excellent if a new icon marker could be made for the mobile speed cameras so they don’t have be be marked as police:.
Too often the destination is no where near the actual address and drops you about 400meters away. Very shonky
To the developers, Make it compatible for use with heavy vehicles in Australia 🇦🇺 that would make this the ultimate navigation app. For functional features look at what the big brands do on their dedicated in vehicle truck GSP navigation units do in terms of truck weights and dimensions for accurate navigation on allowable roads, and routes the truck can travel on based on its weight and dimensions, this data would obviously need to be entered into the app pre-trip each if using different heavy vehicle each trip and if always using the same heavy vehicle you could have the option to save that vehicles pre-entered data or multiple vehicles again if using different vehicles regularly. Also it could be an in app purchase for this heavy vehicle option of usage I would buy it and I know of many others that would also buy it. I would ask you the developers to give this request serious consideration. Cheers
Great app, good info and updates as you drive giving driver a good indication of what’s ahead. Downfall is app won’t turn off after selecting “only when using” on the use location access area. It’s an ongoing issue that should have been sorted out a long time ago now.
