Better than maps!
My go to app for driving whether it’s commuting or cruising! One thing I would love is the ability to view the map with the satellite imagery.

Always chooses the slowest route with the most traffic. Terrible app
Great app
I love the information provided but you should enable an exit button so that I can quit the app without the hassle of restarting my phone or by having to scroll up on my screen. It’s very frustrating and annoying. Please correct this oversight on your part
Long distance laughs.
This app is great for short hops, but inconsistent on long trips. It has frequent errors, unrealistic times, and can’t figure out a route between two major cities like Orlando and Toronto. These weaknesses have been present across many versions and several years.
Should be personalized more
With settings, i should be able to customize my route or app should be able to understand. For example road is closed, but you’re still trying to take me from that road. And the other example i wanna skip stop signs and signals
Street names labels are too big
Can’t turn off the street names popping up. They are blocking intersections details and other important road portions. Besides that, this app is one of the top bit really, they need to put a switch that allows to correct that problem. It is terrible on carplay with a big screen so imagine a small phone.
Latest update broke CarPlay audio
The latest update has caused CarPlay audio alerts to be heard at max volume. Super loud. Please fix.
The best maps app
I’ve used Apple Maps and google maps for my commutes and Waze blows both of them out of the water. So many features I’ve been wishing the other two had I wish I found this earlier. I’ll always use this from now on
Not optimized carplay and no consent/explanation
Carplay Turn signs and hazard notifications takes up so much space. So much wasted black space blocking the navigation. Please reduce the size or make it more transparent to see. Give us the option to choose our path. If reroute- waze needs to provide a reason why. So many times waze reroute my path, given no explanation or even an option to accept or decline it while I’m driving. And it doesn’t even improve the path, I’m actually stuck with more traffic. Provide options, and let us decide what path to take.
