Waze Navigation & Live Traffic

Since the last update Oct/Nov ‘24… the app is giving me so many issues. The voice prompts are lagging 5-10 seconds after I missed a turn, and the loading of routes has been giving a pop up ‘issues loading routes’. Not sure what happened with last update, but it’s just been issue after issue 😣

Does not provide satellite image or alternative routes clearly allowing for personal decisions.

I’ve been using Waze for many years & love the app but since the last update the voice for alerts change constantly during the drive which is very annoying. I have not changed any settings on my phone nor the app.

Why are you changing my language option - i set all to English and moment i search for a place or say go home its changes my language so i deleted the app ..

After the last update Waze seems to be having identity issues. Several voices would read out instructions in different languages. I didn’t change any settings. This is quite irritating.

I love many things about this app, but my favourite is the offline mode. I had an emergency and did not have data and had to get to a petrol station. Waze worked perfectly and I got the help I needed.

Despite its convenience, it is utterly baffling that Waze lacks the option to permanently avoid certain routes. Living in South Africa, one of the countries with the highest rates of violent crime, I am repeatedly directed through some of the most crime-ridden and dangerous areas. There IS NO SENSIBLE REASON why the app should not have this functionality.

So easy to use compared to other navigation devices, and it is very accurate - never let me down yet.

helps alot on traffic stress in SA mostly these times of police stop and search operations
