## WBNG 12 News Reviews in United States

### *---- "Best School Closings App"
App works fine but content is always outdated. If you’re looking for news from the last day or two, look elsewhere. School closings list is usually up to date and the only reason I keep the app.
-- Robert B55, 2025-12-28

### *---- "App ok, content awful"
Opened an article, and the first thing I saw was the town misspelled. Clicked the video link and there were FOUR ads before the video ran. And then the video was a totally different story than what it was supposed to be.
-- herbie7385hut, 2025-06-10

### *---- "Owego’s Memorial Day Parade Organizer’s name wrong"
How can you get Jim Raftis’ name wrong? Can’t your field reporters understand English or are they just deaf? I was taught to ask someone to spell a name I wasn’t familiar with before quoting them or about them.
-- photobug137, 2025-05-27

### *---- "Lazy"
Amazing how many of these stories are aided by AI descriptions, and never proofread, as each day I find 5-10 spelling mistakes on this app. But what do you expect from a news group which is more interested in video and image, rather than substance.
-- Antimediocrity, 2025-02-06

### *---- "Unhappy viewer"
Why is this station so biased when news that’s reported should not be biased but I’m curious do you have to be a democrat to work for your station which I’m sure you have to be I’m so disappointed in your bias ways
-- Shs******, 2024-11-06

### **--- "Power outages"
I went to WBNG app for the first time today. I was looking for information on the power outage.
NOTHING was on the site about the power outage.
So much for using my phone when there’s a power failure.
Disappointing.
-- dinosaur vet, 2024-05-26

### *---- "News and sports"
Very disappointed that the app doesn’t open and sports is inadaquent recently with local sports (new events) not present
-- Bruce41719, 2024-02-01

### *---- "Disappointed"
Every time I try to live stream from the app all I get is a 15 second UHS add. Th app will not let me a live stream the local news or weather I want to see.
-- 7127T, 2024-01-11

### *---- "Closings and delays"
Why did it change? NOT convenient not to see all closings and delays listed at once and appears you have to ask individually.

Why are all nicknames “taken” Have tried at least 4
-- parent 13553, 2023-12-18

### *---- "Old news"
If you want weekend news you’ve come to the wrong place.
Funny that their TV ads tout about how up to the minute they are. Very disappointing, not only WBNG but all the local stations are the same. Monday thru Friday news.
-- Weatherdoug, 2023-09-17
