App is constantly posting notifications and there Is no granularity of control. You either get all the notifications or none. There is no way to select only critical weather event notifications. Uninstalled after a week because of all of the stupid useless notifications. Should be zero stars.
Tried so hard to use this weather app but the inaccuracy makes the weather channel look a whole lot more accurate! Horrible! Terrible! Very...Very...Very....Very consistent at being WRONG! Every day!
I had a series of locations in the old version. After the launch I could not get the app to work. I got the new version and now cannot move the map to locate a specific location. Thankfully I have WAFB’s app also
I have used this app for years and it has always been very dependable with alert notifications during storms, as well as daily forecasts. Thank you!
What an Ugly “Privacy” Policy. Bye 6-23-18 LOVE THIS APP. I haven’t updated the newest version from 3 days ago yet, but this is a Great App. What I Love: 1. NO PRIVACY POLICY, THANK YOU ❤️! I am so sick of Nosey, Invasive Apps and am Deleting those that are Invading My Privacy. ***(Please read ALL your apps privacy policies. Who wants an app watching where you go and what you do just because you have their app? Still feel comfortable opening your BANKING APP? Logging into your BANKING ACCOUNT ONLINE? Having them Collect your SOCIAL SECURITY #, Checking your CREDIT REPORT?, PHONE #, YOUR HOME ADDRESS? WHERE YOU ARE SITTING IN YOUR HOME at that moment? And on and on and on. To Me, This Amounts to STALKING. Only We Can Make This STOP).*** YES, apps you’d never imagine were doing this ARE doing this. 2. I can have several Locations set and switch between them easily. (Great to keep up with bad weather where my loved ones are). 3. I can not only choose the notifications I Want to receive, but I can be Audibly Notified for one or all of them 😊. Thank you for this app. Apps with Privacy Policies, I am not even bothering to read them anymore, and Definitely Not Downloading their app for free or paid. I feel better now and will keep adding my Rant of Disgust on each app I rate in the future.
I don’t like this updated newer version. The old one looked just like WBRZ’s Doppler radar and all the zone watches and warnings and lightning strikes appeared automatically. Now I cannot get it to show or it is no longer a feature... also dark and light maps are ugly and again do not look like the news station’s Doppler. Please bring the old one back!
This app has not been working properly of late. Gives message that no network connection exists when there is one. Has to be deleted and downloaded again to access. Been using other weather apps more often when this used to be one I would go to.
The map used to load reasonably fast, but now it is PAINFULLY slow and sometimes non responsive. I also like the earthquake symbols as they showed up better. This app is nothing like it used to be.
This team of meteorologists is only useful if you understand that they do not know when or where it will rain, nor when the temperature will change. Only then can you look at their weather prediction and say, “I see; this will not happen.” The app is ugly, full of ads, and takes forever to load each time it is opened. Do not waste your time unless you wish to know what the weather in Baton Rouge will not be doing in the near future.
The actual info in this app is generally useful and comprehensive, but at best it's cluttered by ads and banners, at worst I can't even get it to open past the home screen. WBRZ, tell me you're working to improve this. Don't you pride yourselves on being a reliable source of information?
