I’m not sure when the latest update occurred, but now in order to show severe alerts and earthquakes you have to set up a new map that you can’t even make default, and said alerts it’s hard to see against the radar itself (tried different opacities but couldn’t find a good balance). The earthquake symbols are now HUGE compared to before; you can’t tell anymore at a glance how big the quake was. I wish desperately for iPhones to have an app roll back feature but otherwise I have to shout into the void here and hope for change. -- Fish_waffle64, 2026-08-15 ### **--- "Ads took over" This used to be my go to weather app then the ads took over and now you have wait minutes before you can see anything and sometimes twice. Just got too annoying. They need to offer a paid subscription. -- Lscorno1, 2026-06-09 ### *---- "Ad infestation" Used to use this app all the time to check the weather but now there's ads everywhere all of a sudden and is really annoying to have to see an ad whenever I open the app and go to different tabs in the app there's another ad that comes up. -- Harrysarry2012, 2026-05-31 ### *---- "Too many adds" This used to be my go to app and all of a sudden, the adds are out of control. There are many times that I can’t even get out of the add and have to force close the app. I guess it is time to look for a new better weather app! -- 2365498537, 2026-05-30 ### *---- "So. Many. Ads." This is the most accurate weather app for our ever changing KC weather and I’ve used it for years but they’ve recently allowed ads. At first there were only a few and it was manageable but it’s gotten to be so bad I can’t even click on one thing without seeing another ad. Sadly I’ll be deleting this and switching to something else. -- JenniInOz, 2026-05-29 ### **--- "Ads ruin it!!" Please stop with all the ads!! The app was so much better without them! I use the app to check the weather… I don’t want or need an advertisement each time I change what I’m looking at. Ridiculous! -- Chaos_96, 2026-05-29 ### **--- "Ads Are Atrocious" Used to be a great app but the ads have ruined it. They are out of control and I cannot switch from the daily forecast to hourly forecast or radar without having an ad pop back up. The ads have also been concerning making it seem that your phone is compromised vs an ad. The latest ad now won’t even let me exit out of it making the app essentially useless. Also insane to have ads pop up when our area is under severe thunderstorm and tornado watches or warnings. I don’t want to wait for an ad to allow me to close it when a tornado warning is for where I live. Very frustrating and inconvenient! We get it everyone needs ads for revenue but there are ways to do it that don’t ruin the user experience…especially when talking about a weather app!! -- cah78790, 2026-05-28 ### **--- "Shady Ads" The app has deceptive ads on it now so it makes me not trust it. It makes me not trust the station either. -- Glkindig, 2026-05-24 ### ***-- "Needs another fix!" Since the last update, the daily forecast never shows after the large and annoyingly long advertisement. That’s the main thing I used besides the radar. Fix the app and don’t bloat it with ads! -- Dzinesbymeg, 2026-04-25 ### *---- "Bites" This app is awful. I got a couple of minutes of what I thought the app was about. I brought my iPad to work so I could follow the bad weather. After a couple of minutes it made me set up an account and now I cannot see any of those weather warnings going on with any of the fox personnel. I wanted to see the live videos on the weather tracking where the tornado was going or floods, but nope, it just shows “loading” and nothing loads. I had no idea if it was safe to drive home or not. We don’t have any TV’s at work. It’s now worthless to me. I’m going to uninstall it. -- MrClarance, 2026-04-18 [View all WDAF Fox 4 Kansas City Weather reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## WDAF Fox 4 Kansas City Weather Discovered Keywords - wdaf fox 4 kansas city weather - fox 4 wapp ## Apps Similar to WDAF Fox 4 Kansas City Weather - [Storm Shield](https://apptail.io/app/storm-shield-NfJ/united-states) - [9 StormTrack](https://apptail.io/app/9-stormtrack-MCU/united-states) - [StormTrack 5](https://apptail.io/app/stormtrack-5-LDsb/united-states) - [KAKE First Alert Weather](https://apptail.io/app/kake-first-alert-weather-Kdtb/united-states) - [FOX 4 Dallas-FTW: Weather](https://apptail.io/app/fox-4-dallas-ftw-weather-seub/united-states) - [KY3 Weather](https://apptail.io/app/ky3-weather-Biub/united-states) - [KOAM Sky Watch Weather](https://apptail.io/app/koam-sky-watch-weather-tDub/united-states) - [KCTV5 First Warn 5 Weather](https://apptail.io/app/kctv5-first-warn-5-weather-vIub/united-states) - [WIBW 13 Weather app](https://apptail.io/app/wibw-13-weather-app-QZub/united-states) - [Weather Alerts: Severe, Storm](https://apptail.io/app/weather-alerts-severe-storm-RZub/united-states) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
