Weather Underground Reviews

No Longer Useful.. No Support

Pete813 on

United States

This review is more relevant than ever. Having glitches is one thing. Losing usefulness over time WITH NO RESPONSE FROM SUPPORT is criminal when your paying for the app.: This app has gotten progressively worse over the years. Pay for premium and see no difference. The predictions are very sketchy. Weather itself is a variable thing and predictions from any source are never 100% accurate but over the years this app has gotten further and further away from being reasonably reliable or useful. I visit NJ and for weeks after I return to NC my Current Location shows as Bayville, NJ. There is also no support. Emails go unanswered. This was one of the first apps I loaded onto my first iPhone over 12 years ago and now it is a mere shadow of its former self. This is a real shame.

Premium Subscription Review

Dissapointed in Tulsa, OK on

$20 for one year. No ads, 8 days of hourly forecasts and 15 days of daily forecast. No lightning warning so that feature must have been removed or never implemented. To make this work across multiple devices on one account you need to go to the second device, open weather underground, press the upgrade button and then press the Restore Purchase link at the bottom of that page. These instructions everyone will need are inexplicably buried in a help article.

The most important thing—alerts—are unreadable

madallday on

United States

Alerts and warnings are in a font that doesn’t seem to scale. It’s the tiniest font that can use. Literally useless.

Why did I pay for AD free when there are still ads???

I payed for the removal of ads and I am still getting ads. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Don’t waste your time

You might as well just look out the window to know the weather. Farmers Almanac is more accurate projecting 7 days out than this app will be.

Climate Hoax

You called for severe thunderstorm watch and flood watch. We got two drizzles in the last 24 hours. Not even close!

Wrong all the time.

Sure. Weather is unpredictable, I guess. But this app is ALWAYS wrong.

The best of all app since the beginning of app ISR starting to wear off

- I still have phone from years with the older Wunderground app. It is a delight to use from easy to lot of info to use. -Now still good but not outstanding due to more and more features been taking out like severe weather statement and the area of hurricanes. - Still is a good app to use over the weather channel app the decide to go to the dark side. - Hope this app to shine like old times.

No Dew Point?

SleepyOneZZZ on

I totally can’t find it on the webpage app.

Notifications going nuts

Bake275 on

United States

Would be a great app if I wasn’t notified 15-20 times a day that there is a heat advisory… do I really need one more 8:50pm notification at heat warning until 9pm at night. My goodness.
