Weather Underground: Local Map

Seems like no proper development going into this product. Doesn’t leave a good impression of IBM.

This app is like that pair of old jeans. Looks terrible but works. WX underground, it’s time. Time to put on a pair of new modern jeans. You are way better than apple weather but man, your skin is just so last century! Update the GUI and I’ll give you 5 stars

I have used this app organically for planning road trips on my Harley with great success. I have since used it for a variety of other outdoor activities such as sailing, hiking, camping and fishing. The forecasts are mostly accurate but obviously the longer ranged forecasts are about 75% accurate as a nominal percentage. However the weather radar provides a good indication of upcoming conditions and augments the forecasts in many instances.

Use the app daily. Love it but, when loading daily forecast, the graph is overlaid on top of the text. I need to click into daily forecast and then exit back to landing screen to correct this every time.

Very Bad weather site… Hydrawise uses this site and they always have it wrong 🤦‍♀️. Norway and Windy… is way better and very accurate.

WU used to be the best and most accurate weather app I have ever used. The fact that you could give input in a few different ways made this app so accurate. The UI was as well better, you could easily arrange the app to your liking. The smart forecasts used to be free. There was just so much to this app that made it fantastic and the best weather app around. Since IBM took over, they have taken out all the features that made this app so unique and special. I would not recommend this app at all, unless they go back to the way it was. I have cancelled my subscription and am looking at other apps, I suggest you do the same.

I feel this app could be so much better. Why can’t I change wind units to knots?? This makes no sense at all.

Temp and wind forecasts rather accurate. Rain forecasts absolutely horrendous.

This app is no longer the app of a year or three ago AND the new guys just don’t care. I can not recommend it any more I used to have an excess of 500 persons accessing my data from around the area and across the country. Even some expats across the globe. They all complain Tech support used to be really good. New crowd - seems non existent. The precipitation figures on the map is a joke.

It’s pretty good would recommend downloading it😁
