Landscape mode keeps changing
Can’t figure out why the landscape view keeps changing to portrait. I realize this is more of an annoyance as the actual information is always good. Still portrait is quite small on iPad. Why can’t we choose mode in settings?
Can’t see the mountain
Can’t see the mountain less that 2 miles away because of smoke from forest fires, and you say the air quality has ended , look out the window…..Pemberton BC
Best free weather app
I’ve used many weather apps over the years and this one is not only the most accurate but it has a layout that I like. It has no ads and doesn’t try to sell you anything. I’m using it on an old iPhone and I’ve never had a problem. I’m not sure why so many people are complaining about it.
Most reliable
So far the most reliable weather app in my area of southern Ontario. UI could use improving but the main function works which is all I wanted in a weather app.
total piece of CRAP!!! WORST weather app ever!!!
piece of crap says i’m 40 kilometers away!!!!
Radar Imagery
It sure would be nice if “they” could keep the Radisson Sask. radar equipment up & running consistently! The loss of this station yet again really shows an incomplete weather picture for central Saskatchewan.
Basic and kind of slow but does the trick
It has all the basic info you need. I stick with it because it’s government funded so doesn’t support itself by selling my personal data.
Though I don’t think I’ve seen one change since it was released 5 years ago or so. A refresh would do it good. For example the radar is slow to load and you need to close and reopen the app to refresh it. Environment Canada could take a few notes from their counterparts in Norway where their app, YR, has a beautiful UI with additional metrics such as real time and forecasts for pollen levels and aurora activity, as well as water temperature, tides, moonrise/set, and smooth radar imagery that also project the next hour or so.
best weather app, but…
I would really like two improvements:
a) a corresponding Apple watch app
b) the drop down on the Now page to be permanently open
App crashes upon opening with latest update.
I haven’t been able to use the app since the last update. The app screen flashes and then closes. I am able to see the weather using the widget but it’s very inconvenient. I wish they would push another release, or allow us to talk to app support to get a fix for this. I really like app but this is all but unusable now.
