App used to be awesome. Even after Weber bought them. But recently they took away the ability to see if as a widget. So now when I want to see the temp when phone is locked, gotta unlock the phone, open the app, etc. honestly it has me now looking for a new brand
I’ve tried a few sessions and when I’m looking at the app during a cook it shows the temps for an entire 12 hour session. I save it, but when going back it only shows the last 15min.
I have used it for years, and I’m suddenly a good cook!! I do have a question, though. No matter how I try, I can’t get the option to keep the screen on to actually work (this has been the same across several generations of iPhones. I keep my iOS up to date.
Perfect per the plan were my Rack of lamb!
Nice app, but it drives me crazy how, if you lose the bluetooth connection, the whole cook goes away and you have to start a new one. It should pick up on the last started cook on regaining the connection.
Perfect on spot temperature on everything
With some basic grilling skills, understanding the beauty of indirect heat cooking and using your Weber iGrill thermometer, you will always cook to perfection. It really is a game changer!
Grilling big beefy ribs!
I’ve been using iGrill since the first version that was eventually acquired by Weber. I’ve had multiple devices over the years, relying on them for smoking and grilling. Unfortunately the performance of them has dropped off significantly. The probes appear to be failing after one or two uses - or maybe it’s something with the firmware. Today I plugged in a probe and the app claimed that that it was 165F when the probe was room temperature. Restarting everything did nothing to help. Weber, any guidance on this?
