This App can be used to identify and record the location of weeds throughout Australia. WeedScan is for use primarily in the agriculture sector. Your records can be submitted to the Weedscan community website to help develop and maintain an up-to-date picture of weeds throughout your region. This information can be used to monitor populations, and to better target weeds through coordinated control programs. Please note that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. ## WeedScan Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/d4/a7/a1/d4a7a14e-da0a-bb90-952f-aa8c0d885af3/883a2f86-78de-4506-b4e2-d2c10d2be970_Simulator_Screenshot_-_6.5_U0022_-_2023-07-04_at_10.41.36.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/ca/56/8c/ca568cb7-d9f9-1830-e27c-f8b19f5ab6ef/70b82f80-85bc-4ab6-88f1-d5594fab062a_Simulator_Screenshot_-_6.5_U0022_-_2023-07-04_at_10.41.42.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/b8/c6/76/b8c67699-15c7-c924-d7be-2efb883b6f11/3e6ca6f9-db00-4afd-8744-bc8dbcb33e38_Simulator_Screenshot_-_6.5_U0022_-_2023-07-04_at_10.41.51.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/dd/dd/3d/dddd3db8-97f1-8b9c-79f7-5109f13fbde4/ac0e3552-1b90-40cb-8e8f-fc3ac1fd63da_Simulator_Screenshot_-_6.5_U0022_-_2023-07-04_at_10.41.58.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource116/v4/03/25/de/0325dedf-ba57-85b2-49d6-924e8cfd6e68/2060012c-3af5-4735-b907-0734bc099a79_Simulator_Screenshot_-_6.5_U0022_-_2023-07-04_at_10.42.03.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/PurpleSource126/v4/b6/4d/e1/b64de17e-189d-ca73-506c-b7b29f546a76/2021fea0-c213-4a5f-8406-01f134fc7686_Simulator_Screenshot_-_6.5_U0022_-_2023-07-04_at_10.53.41.png/1242x2688.png) ## WeedScan Rating Breakdown in Australia - 5 stars: 4 (29%) - 4 stars: 1 (7%) - 3 stars: 1 (7%) - 2 stars: 3 (21%) - 1 stars: 5 (36%) ## WeedScan Reviews in Australia ### ***-- "ID needs work" First image I put in, the ID the app provided is very wrong and I can’t even change it to the correct ID. The bones of this app are great but please fix the ID component. -- Hiluxgirl, 2025-03-12 ### ***** "Amazing" Great App, so useful, minor inaccuracies but it makes me happy -- Barvey sakey, 2024-11-19 ### *---- "Absolutely unreliable" Randomises and can’t make up its mind…after significant trials. -- aussiebrownski, 2024-08-25 ### *---- "Its always wrong" Really needs to be reworked. It is consistently wrong. This should of been more extensively tested before being released. -- Giddyup92, 2024-05-19 ### **--- "Great idea still needs work" This is an app that would benefit us greatly but basic functionality doesn’t work, weeds are constantly identified as Lantana, bug reports and requests for help are not answered. -- Antichinous, 2024-02-09 ### ****- "Pretty good but some rough edges" Pros: Accurately identifies plants that it knows, even if only leaves are present. For weeds, it is important to identify them at any growth stage. Cons: It is obviously a version 1.0 product and needs a few fixes. In particular, the experience of anonymous weed reports could be better as there is not much feedback that the report has landed in the appropriate place -- QuietScream, 2023-12-21 ### *---- "Useless" I tried on a few garden weeds in Brisbane. 100% wrong. Removed immediately -- 66Ping6666, 2023-12-02 [View all WeedScan reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## WeedScan Discovered Keywords - weedscan --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
