The version I downloaded was perfect for what I needed. Now with the recent update I need a subscription for 2 great features. I now can’t even see how much I save each week. Great logic guys 😑
Has made budgeting effortless and so easy to follow. For the first time I am able to stay on track. The cost of the subscription is absolutely worth it and has saved me thousands in overspending.
I find the app really helps me with managing my budget
Absolutely sold on the weekly budgeting method after trying the envelope method with YNAB, Actual budget etc. Wife was totally against budgeting after going through the complicated “YNAB way”. She just wants to know how much can we work with after all the bills. Finally, found Weekly which simply works for both of us. Surprised Weekly is not marketed like ynab. I feel like this could work for tons of people who are otherwise fed up by the other subscription based budgeting apps out there. Finally, happy to have most of the features we like for free. I’d even pay if there is a basic plan that gives me all features except bank sync.
I think the only thing that I find hard to make this app useful is that it doesn’t support my bank but that’s just cause of plaid more I understand. Because of that tho I can’t even create accounts it only wants me to link them. Making that function useless..
I cannot say enough good things about this app. This is the app I have been waiting for. It’s intuitive and modern, it includes subscriptions, as well as weekly, monthly, and annual expenses and breaks it all down into a weekly amount. Absolutely brilliant!
I needed a weekly budget app as I live on a small income and expenses are tight. Thank you for making it all so easy 😊
This ingenious app has now replaced an overpriced popular envelope based budget app I was using. I love that Weekly gives me ONE amount each week that I have to spend after paying all my expenses. This is so easy and refreshing compared to the envelope system where I was constantly moving money from one envelope to another to cover my shortfalls. As a senior, who loves to keep track of every expense this is the perfect app for me and the support is nothing less than fabulous. The developers answer all my questions quickly. The one downside of this budget method is that it does not reconcile the bank balances. But this is a small price to pay for the excellent help it provides to give me ONE amount to spend each week. It only takes a few minutes to reconcile my credit card and bank. I highly recommend WEEKLY as a simple and effective way to prevent over spending and to save for future expenditures. I am not an employee or friend of the developers of this app and I did not get a free promotional copy. It is simply so great that I wanted to promote it.
I wanted a finance app that would let me set a weekly spend for myself and then let me manually add transactions. For me, this is for “just for fun”, non-essential transactions, like eating out, purchases, movies, etc. I feel bad spending money, so it helps me to have some that I’ve already set aside for more frivolous purchases. I wanted to be able to borrow from weeks ahead for particularly expensive weeks, and accrue money from weeks that I don’t spend much at all. I was actually going to develop an app myself for personal use, but found this. Almost exactly what I’m looking for. Two suggestions. First, when adding a transaction, it should be as streamlined and quick as possible. I’m usually out and about and want to put the app away as soon as possible. I should be able to click “add transaction”, and the fields should be ordered in importance. Monetary amount should be first (a transaction in essence is just this), description second with UI to show its optional, and destination third (with some default destination automatically selected, such as Safe To Spend). Then, you can include the blurb about going PRO above the Create button, since the user has already used their thumbs and the “Thumbs Tired” messaging makes more sense. Second, I’m not sure if this exists, but it would be nice to have a setting to automatically roll over your safe to spend every week without having to review it. Thank you for reading, but overall a very nice app! :)
