Managing your health can be tough, but it doesn't have to be. The Welldoc App supports you every step of the way so that you can worry less about your health and focus more on what matters most. 

Welldoc can help you manage prediabetes, diabetes, heart failure, hypertension, and your weight with more confidence by bringing all your health data together. It connects and analyzes your unique information to give you personalized guidance and digital coaching, making those day-to-day choices much easier. 

The Welldoc App is only available via your health plan, health system or employer. 

 
Welldoc helps you manage your health with: 

       • Personalized coaching based on your unique health data to give you guidance when you need it most 
       • Insights into how medications, nutrition, activity, sleep, and device data, such as data from Apple Health®, affect your health so that you can build better habits 
       • Welldoc Advisor, your personal guide available 24/7  
       • The Welldoc Community to stay motivated with members just like you 
       • Goals and challenges to keep you on the right track 
       • Education and tools that help you better understand your health 
       • Health reports that you can share directly with your care team to let them know how you’re doing between visits

The Welldoc® App is Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) intended to be used by healthcare providers (HCP) and their patients – aged 18 years and older – who have prediabetes, diabetes, heart failure, high blood pressure, liver disease, kidney disease, and/or sleep apnea. The Welldoc App also supports weight management and mental well-being. The was never great, but the recent update has officially ruined this app. Maybe it will be fine if you’re new to using it, but existing users just got royally screwed and need to re-enter HUGE amounts of info/preferences. I just don’t have the will power and will likely just quit.

Out of all the apps, I’ve used to try to help with weight management, this is the first one that I feel is effectively helping me track the food. I’ve eaten understanding calorie and carbohydrates and protein levels to help me effectively and safely lose the weight. My only issue is I cannot get my Fitbit to connect to Well doc

I’ve had this for awhile and it never connected to my hospital records correctly and never connected with Apple health correctly so I removed it.   This morning I got a call asking about my issues and so I reinstalled it again thinking the issues were resolved but it seems to be still doing the same thing.   I’m not sure if this is worth the hassle or not.  But I’ll keep trying and hope it starts working for me.

Recently, the app was  completely broken for me, couldn’t can’t get past its demand for a nonexistent update for a day.

When it works, it’s almost acceptable. Sure, I’ve never been able to get the doctor connection feature to work, and my doctor isn’t listed. Maybe I should try again.

Customer support has been excellent however the app itself does not track as it should. Many times I track a meal only to come back and have it either not tracked or tracked 3 or 4 times. Continuous glucose monitoring does not come over consistently and I call almost every other week. If it weren’t for my NP looking at the data, when it’s available, I would not be so diligent about tracking my food, meds, exercise etcetera.
