## WellSpan Description
The WellSpan app provides quick access to the WellSpan Health network of physicians, hospitals, urgent care and specialty centers serving central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland.
 
Use our app to:
• View test results
• Schedule appointments
• Exchange secure messages with your doctor
• Review immunization history
• View and renew prescriptions
• Pay your bill
• View clinical notes and after visit summaries for past visits and hospital stays
• Upload health and fitness data, including data from the Apple Health app, to your MyWellSpan account when enrolled in a self-tracking program

I love having the app with the option to be able to look at records at our whim, however I personally feel the app is hard to learn the way around. Sometimes can’t find what I’m looking for and it’s set up a bit confusing for me personally.

Of the healthcare provider apps, Wellspan’s is pretty intuitive and user friendly. It’s easy to schedule appointments, directly add appointments to your calendar from the app, request med refills, you have access to test results; most of the time before your appointment. You’re able to read your doctor’s notes after the appointment. Yore able to message any of your healthcare providers that are under the Wellspan umbrella, or customer service representatives,. I would highly recommend using the app if you go to a Wellspan facility.

This app is truly amazing. I love how I can schedule appointments, view past appointment summaries, send portal messages right to the nursing staff and doctors, view immunizations and medications, etc. You name it, you can most likely do it here on this app. Thank you WellSpan.

My mother and I had mammograms at this facility. I had a follow up 3D mammogram and ultrasound done today. The staff at this facility is top notch. They explain everything that is happening and why. They allow you to ask any questions or concerns you may have and always are making sure that your comfortable. Thank you ladies for your expertise and kindness! You are absolutely outstanding at what you do!

The portal gives you a lot of information which is great. The only information that I have not found is billing history-if you have no amount due. This is very inconvenient when needing this and requires calling the billing department. It is also inconvenient to match what records were sent to insurance for billing. Another call to the billing department because the records do not match up!

The receptionist said a permit exam was a wellness exam (they do the exact same thing at this visit) charged me $200 to have the words “drivers permit” added to the insurance claim. PA shouldn’t even require this as someone can transfer their license without an exam from a state (most every other state) and be legally unfit ! Government/insurance and Wellspan are all after one thing ….taking your MONEY!

You’re a bank account not a patient. The longer they hold off on cures the longer they can keep you as a customer. If you have mental health issues they will find anyway to shove pills down your throat and bill your insurance as long as possible.

I have been using MyChart for several years now and believe it has been very helpful in many ways. I’m able to request my prescriptions, schedule my appointments, review future appointments, review lab work, review X-rays, keep track of my vaccinations, communicate with my doctors, and review in detail my bills that maybe due. Keep up the good work.
