## WESA Public Radio App Reviews in United States

### ***** "Keeps me on top of the news"
NPR and WESA clearly have a liberal tilt, but then everyone sees the world through their coloured lenses. I depend on Morning Edition and All Things Considered to keep me informed. Much of the rest of the programming has too much of a progressive orientation.
-- Fr. Rcubed, 2024-11-25

### ***** "Excellent local and national news!"
It just works!
-- pickled penny pn, 2022-06-18

### ****- "Thanks for the app!"
I use this app all of the time. We are in a valley and radio reception is poor. Would give it 5 stars if they could figure out how not to have the app announce wesa every time I
move from WI-FI to cell.
-- Hipsterdufus, 2022-04-12

### ***** "Best reporters in Pittsburgh"
Best news source, easy to use app
-- Armin Samii, 2021-12-07

### ***** "Glad to have it"
I used to listen via Safari on my iPhone. I like just tapping the app and the play button much better.
-- Disappointed and dumping it, 2021-06-21

### ***** "Great app"
Best news source I’ve ever listened to. Definitely worth the download
-- tom89432, 2021-05-22

### ***** "Great app"
Awesome app for a great station.

### *---- "WESA has pretty pictures but it is impossible to find news"
I listen the WESA every day. Because I live in Indiana County where radio reception is poor, I rely in the app. I started using it in 2009. At that time it was simple to use. There were lists and links to all sorts of podcasts. I could down load programs to my phone to listen on the road where there wasn’t ( and still isn’t) cell phone signal. It was a treasure. Since then it has evolved from a simple, easy to search on and small data using app that relied on typed words to an app that requires more data signal. Instead of lists there are endlessly rotating pretty pictures of past and current stories. To find things I might have missed I have to scroll and scroll and scroll through endless pictures.

Today took the cake. While listening to the news a picture about Act 77 allowing mail in ballots scrolled by. I read it. It is a very important story given the current claims that our votes are invalid. I used the button to share it on Facebook. It looked like it worked but it didn’t show up on my feed. Then I tried to email it to myself but all I got was a circle wait thing that wouldn’t stop. So, I had to close the app. I re-opened it to try again but now I can’t find the story at all! Can you please, please go back to a simpler app that lists the news? We do not need endlessly rotating pretty pictures. Go back to simple lists so we can find the news.

### ***** "Great app"
This is my go to app in the morning. It plays the news for me and never misses a beat.
-- MeeshaG, 2020-07-23

### ***** "Love this!"
It’s great to be able to catch up without being in my car!
