## West Virginia Mobile ID Description
In today's connected world, Mobile ID offers a private, secure, contactless way to verify identity, either at home or on-the-go. Everything is on your phone – now your ID is, too!

Intuitive, easy-to-use and highly convenient, West Virginia Mobile ID can be used anywhere it’s accepted, in any context a physical ID would be used – with enhanced privacy features. Only your Face ID, TouchID or six-digit pin will unlock the app and access your Mobile ID.

In five simple steps, you can create your West Virginia MiD:

1. Download the app and set permissions
2. Verify access to your phone number
3. Use your device camera to scan the front and back of your driver license or ID card
4. Follow the steps to capture a selfie
5. Set up app security and you’re good to go!

Please note: West Virginia Mobile ID is an official state-issued ID, serving as a companion to your physical ID. As not all entities are able to verify a Mobile ID, you should continue to carry your physical ID.

## West Virginia Mobile ID Reviews in United States

### ****- "Simple"
App was simple to set up, maybe took 5 minutes in total
-- mrWarnick, 2025-05-27

### ****- "serve the purpose… but"
Serves the purpose. Anxious to try at an airport to see if it’s accepted. As another reviewer stated, it would be nice if you could add this to Apple wallet.
-- MadDogWV, 2025-04-10

### ****- "So far so good"
So far it’s done exactly what it’s meant to do it gives you another option for you to have ID handy. The only question is when will you be able to add your WV ID to the iPhone wallet? For some reason you still can’t do this is definitely a good alternative
-- Space Cowboys mom, 2025-03-22

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
I has been trying since day one with no luck, it suck… please get apple wallet.
-- robhuff46, 2025-03-19

### ****- "App doesn't work on 15 pro"
I just switched over to the iphone 15 pro and the app crashes immediately when launching the application. When I had my iphone SE 2nd gen, I never ran into this glitch before. Hopefully this gets addressed soon and a patch to fix the issue.

### ***** "Works Great"
I just came across this app today. I’ve been wondering when they would come out with something like this. It would be nice if you could add it to apple wallet but maybe later on down the road that’ll happen. It was very easy to setup and get working. It’s very nice to have it on my phone in case I ever forget my wallet at home and I would get pulled over or just need my ID in general it’s nice to know I have it digitally on my phone. Overall I really like it and it’s nice to have!

### ****- "It works but…"
I too had the failing problem until I got in good lighting and took a non-blurred image of my license. Now it works great. Why it won’t link to Apple wallet is, I’m sure, in process. The apple wallet feature is something Apple has to add. When they add WV licenses to iOS this will be fixed. But for now the app will suffice.
-- B@rking M@d, 2025-01-26

### *---- "Worthless application"
Can not get past image capture of my drivers license. Says it’s a good photo. But error code says it’s not. Don’t waste your time with this app. Does not even work with Apple ID so forget adding it to your wallet.
-- These are horrible chargers, 2025-01-14

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
Add, I tried multiple times but never finishes the registration. Stupid app.
