## Whee - E Reviews in United Kingdom

### *---- "Avoid"
Charge you and doesn’t work. Customer Serra joke, don’t call back AVOID
-- boxie63389, 2023-08-09

### *---- "Irresponsible"
If the vehicle is working properly, it’s fine. If not, here’s what to expect:
 - if the vehicle is faulty or needs repair, you only know when the timer started
 - the timer is per 10 minutes, so you start off with paying for 10 minutes for a vehicle that doesn’t work properly
 - if you try to call customer service, they are almost impossible to reach
 - once you tried hard enough, they will promise you that they stop the ride and give you a refund
 - you keep waiting for the ride to stop which doesn’t happen
 - they don’t, and you get charged for the waiting
Avoid. They are charging stellar prices. You can rent for third the price, and you don’t even have the benefit of returning to any collection point (unlike other e-scooter rental apps), so this app has no benefits at all.

### ***** "Scooter ride"
Fantastic
-- Chico Dicicco, 2022-08-16

### ***** "Amazing!"
We went 17.5km on these scooters and had the best day exploring the centre of Palma. From start to finish our experience was amazing, we had rented the scooters for my boyfriends birthday and at one point one of the scooters malfunctioned. We called the contact number for Whee and they immediately came to our location with another scooter, absolutely couldn’t fault them. Brilliant customer service skills and had an amazing day!! Thank you so much
-- sxphie.hly, 2022-07-18

### **--- "Not the best"
We was driving back to are hotel but then the scooters did not let us login so we hade to walk them back
-- ggrahma, 2022-04-12

### ***** "Great fun and so useful."
That was a very good time and a lot of fun.
Mine one was really quick and worked perfectly.
-- willy sympa, 2021-10-15

### ***** "Whee scooters"
Great simple to use scooters to get around on !! Any probs or queries contact admin , the respond very quickly and are very nice and helpful people 👍
-- danboy20, 2020-08-18

### ***** "Day hire of scooters"
Possibly the best fun ever !!!!
-- Gray101, 2020-08-10

### ***** "Best way to see the city"
Hired a private fleet of scooters from Whee for our group, and they delivered them to our hotel with helmets and chargers and a smile. They showed us how to work them and ride them and all the equipment was in great condition - brand new helmets! The staff who delivered them were incredibly helpful and had great English too which was really helpful.
It was so much fun and everyone in our group could ride them no problem. The city has really good cycle lane infrastructure and you can get around much easier than you could on foot. We are sad to give them back!
-- PALMA MC, 2019-08-25

### *---- "Beware! You don’t get your €10 deposit back!"
The app is misleading. To rent the scooter you have to leave a €10 Euro deposit. The term,”deposit”, suggests that if you return the scooter back to the original location this is refundable, however, this is not the case, it’s just a hidden charge. My wife and I hired two scooters from the Es Princep in Palma. We enquired with the company to be told that this, so called, deposit stays on your account, so you can use the service again in the future. This is only good if you’re intending on going back to Palma, or you live there. If you don’t go back or you don’t intend using the service again you can say goodbye to your money. These scooters should not be parked outside a hotel that full of tourists and one-off customers. The terms and conditions on the app does not mention this hidden charge anywhere, I believe it’s an intentional con! Such a shame that what’s supposed to be a bit of fun leaves you feeling tricked.
