Why does transcription stop when I switch apps?
iOS limits background GPU usage for third-party apps. Just return to the app and tap "Re-transcribe"—it will restart.

Yes. Import MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV files and transcribe them offline. Great for extracting subtitles from videos without uploading to cloud services.

Excellent mais il y a des bugs
Je n’arrive pas à ouvrir certains fichiers audio m4a. Transcriptions quasi parfaites. Ce serait bien s’il y avait une option pour éviter que le téléphone ou la tablette ne tombe en mode veille pendant le téléchargement. J’arrive à ouvrir des fichiers avec mon compte OneDrive maintenant. Le prix est bon. Parfois mes fichiers audio n’ont pas de sons au début et c’est après que les conversations arrivent. Le fichier de transcription ne fonctionne pas bien dans ce cas-là. Ils arrêtent de transcrire après un moment.
Perfect Transcription App
So happy to have found this app. I use it to transcribe just about any meeting or appointment I go to accommodate my memory impacted by long covid, so the on-device processing is a must for me.
Doesn’t process imported files.
I enabled “Allow Import Audio File”, selected an MP3 file, opened it, and it did nothing. No error, no progress, no indication anywhere that it had done anything. I suppose free apps are worth every penny you pay.
Select multiple text files to share?
Great app, very accurate transcriptions! However, I use it primarily as a note taker and so may quickly end up with multiple text files. Is there a way to select multiple texts and save them to files in one command? Otherwise I must “share” each individual text to a file one by one, which is rather tedious.
Disgusting
Completely useless app. Don’t waste money on it.
disappointed
im so sad. I was so excited to find this app as a way of writing a book through voice memos and exploration. most other transcription apps punctuate poorly or record in note taking styles/bullet points. I recorded close to thirty minutes of audio yesterday and when I completed it, it began transceibing. The app warns that it starts slowly and learns to get faster, so after a couple of monutes and it only having transcribed 2% of my recording, I switched to another app to focus on in the meantime. I then went to bed forgetting to check it back on my recording. Today I opened whisper to see no record of the recording, as if it never happened; not even a blank audio or failure message. This literally made me cry, as I can never repeat or fully remember the narration of the ideas I recorded. I am so disappointed, this app has lost my trust.
Very accurate
While the accuracy of this app is impressive, it does not address my immediate needs. I use VoiceOver and voice control simultaneously and need live transcription to allow for immediate edits before copying the text to be used in other apps. The accuracy when using voice control is pretty pathetic often requiring words to be spelled out letter by letter to avoid capitalization errors and vulgarity from being inserted when it wasn't spoken even though I am in a very quiet place. I will let several of my friends know about this app. It is pretty rare these days to find an app without subscriptions which is greatly appreciated for those of us on a very limited disability income.
Good, but can’t find the url scheme to use as a short cut
i love the app. there’s one feature I’d like to have. i’d like the ability to call this app using a URL scheme.

Had a small feature request and was fulfilled and updated within a week. I hope this app goes far.
