This app is awesome. I would recommend it to anyone that has a large event.
Easy to Navigate
I used the Whova app at a recent conference, and its features made my day much easier! I was able to see all the speakers and events on the app and quickly created my three day agenda. I was able to see a map of the various rooms so I could navigate where I needed to be. And the app was very user friendly and easy to navigate as well. It also has get to know you and social aspects for attendees, which gives it a positive and friendly tone. I do recommend this app to others hosting large events with many attendees.
Fair enough
Does a decent job managing conferences and events. Design is a bit unintuitive; for example the personal QR Code you can use to exchange contacts only seems to work for checkin and event organizers, not fellow attendees.
Engagement Before, During & After
The Whova app was easy to use and gamified engagement but not in a cheesy way. If you like checking things off a list for a sense of accomplishment or are competitive, you will especially enjoy it. Exchanging contact information was a simple process. Having agenda, contacts, vendor list, photos and more all in one place was super beneficial and convenient. The passport for visiting vendors surely increased interactions. I organized a morning run through the app and made new friends! The number of community notifications when I opened the app after a few days was a bit overwhelming for me, but I learned to ignore the conversations I wasn’t involved in. It did show me how actively used the app was. Evaluations would be so much easier to compile than a traditional system. I will be letting my company conference planning team know about it, but I have no idea on the cost to the organizers.

The app is easy to navigate and it's so much fun. You're able to communicate easily with peers. Collaboration with other individuals are seemingless. I would definitely recommend this application to other people.
Great Product for conferences
Good UI - could use some tweaking but reasonably good Great for people that don’t want to use social media Was able to upload large size photos Great attendee contact list - wish it had the kind of contact exchange that requires little or no clicking. I wish it would have single click contact exchange with auto add to your phone contacts Wish I could mute some of the conversations as they had nothing to do with me. That way I’m not disappointed when I click on the update notifications only to find out it was on a conversation that I was not following. Other than that - very handy for receiving last minute updates from the organizers.
