## WHQR Public Radio App Description
WHQR Public Radio App: 

The WHQR Public Radio App allows you to listen to WHQR, pause and rewind the live audio and view the program schedule all at once.  You can explore On Demand content and wake up to WHQR with the alarm clock.

Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward).  You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off.  Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed.
• Listen to live streams from WHQR even while traveling.
• Listen to WHQR in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails.

On Demand
• Access WHQR programs easily and quickly.
• DVR-like controls.  Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease. 
• When listening to programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one or listen to the entire program.
• Easy to access past programs.
The WHQR Public Radio App displays the web page associated with the program or program segment you are listening to On Demand so you can explore for more information.

Nicely designed so that it is easy to find what you’re looking for. And there’s an amazingly wide range of things to select from.
Other than unavoidable -but brief and completely justified- “underwriting” announcements, and an occasional fund-raising drive, it’s actually really free - unlike so many apps that are merely “free to download“.

I love HQR but this app is incredibly frustrating. It’s constantly re-buffering and shutting off mid program. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling but it appears to be a programming issue. I find myself going to other NPR stations so I can hear the stories without interruption.
