The app brings up a screen to name the customisation but after a few seconds, returns to the previous screen -- The Hedonist1, 2024-07-02 ### *---- "Widex & Bloomhearing" I have had my Widex Movement aids since November 2021. I am really annoyed with Blooms inability to advise me regarding the setting of its program. I drive a lot and notice from the instructions that there is a programme to inhibit road noise , referring me to a hearing specialist to advice me how to set it. Equally I need to be able to connect into the churches hearing loop. The instruction book does not instruct it, it advises users to contact the hearing professional. I am also a musician and find my Widex aid music program is useless. My experience is that Bloom Hearing does not have any hearing specialists in my area. I am in the process of taking legal advice to ascertain if I have grounds to take a case against Bloom Hearing in order to get a rebate. The use of the iPhone seems a good idea but is very limited, not covering all the services the Moment aid is ,supposedly capable of Bloom have been offering a rebate of £450 if I purchase new aids, I would prefer that payment to cover my dissapoint. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANY POTENTIAL USER -- Peacesp8, 2022-11-12 ### *---- "Keeps crashing" Don’t waste your money on the expensive hearing aids , the app keeps crashing and you can’t save settings then they revert back to original settings . I will am getting a refund on my hearing aids as it was a waste of £3000 -- ozzyozz2022, 2022-09-23 ### **--- "Problem - dropping signal" The app has started to regularly and frequently lose signal to one or other hearing aid. It seems random and I don’t know why - happens with both iPad and iPhone. It is not related to the pairing clash that happens when I have Bluetooth on both iPhone and iPad at same time - that also causes one hearing aid to cut off from the app signal. The dropping signal is really infuriating- hence the low star rating. The inability to create a favourite and for it to be one of your hearing aid programmes setting is also frustrating. But otherwise the app is pretty good. And in my view, the hearing aids are loads better than other top end competitions. The app allows for fine tweaking but does not remember the setting. Saving a setting requires a new ‘favourite’ to be created which is not recognised on the hearing aid button. The phone does not retain the pairing resulting in the phone loosing contact when out of the range of the hearing aids .
