Hearing aid
I have this app, worked well but lately my hearing aid will not stay connected.Tried forgetting device and reloaded app, nothing helps.Sometimes the phone will ring and I answer but the app isn’t working so I miss some of what is said. Not sure if it’s my problem or app,but it did start after I did an update on phone. Please look into this issue
Not music friendly
The app requires the user to actively choose music settings. In the room music and streaming music must be manually set.
Drops iPhone connection
Periodically decides not to recognize my hearing aids and cannot link to phone. Have to disconnect, delete app, try reconnecting. This doesn’t always work so keep trying again until it finally connects. Too bad because I like the hearing aside themselves
Bluetooth location
If you lost your hear aids need current location not the last time you used them. My map didn’t updated at all when I was looking for them I have driven over 20mins with no luck. I did under my car seat. My Bluetooth was on the whole time waste of time and gas too.
App Can Freeze
I enjoy using this app. It offers a lot of flexibility and customization. However, when I am on a phone call on my iPhone XS (which is fully up to date with the latest iOS software) it may suddenly freeze. My party can no longer hear me and I can’t switch from my hearing aids to the iPhone to hear the conversation. The only fix is to close down the app, restart it and call back the person to whom I was talking. Sometimes it is necessary to reboot the iPhone itself.
App not working
This app was fine for a while. Now it’s not pairing (iPhone 14 pro)
Extremely Disappointed
Went without my left hearing aide while it was being repaired. The replacement is more problematic. Aides must be paired with my iPhone every day, sometimes more than once. The replaced aide is not even talking a charge.
Last Saved please!
When I put my aids in in the morning, they are too loud! I have to take them out the charger, open the app. It defaults to Universal and I have to turn the volume down. I use the app only at a 2 or 3 volume for each profile and change all of the settings. Last saved will be a game changer and I will give it a 5!
Keeps Getting Better
In 1.6.0(10), things seem to work well. I like the My Sound utility and also that I can create my own sound profiles. Thank you for supporting us.
Working well in iOS 16.2
I too had issues with my aids connecting to the app in 16.1 but I did find a work around by just going to the Accessibility screen then Hearing where my aids are and it would then connect to the app. But I’m using 16.2 now. I’m a beta tester for iOS so I don’t know if 16.2 is public yet or not but it fixed the connection issue. My aids now connect quickly when I launch the app. I do wish they would make our app more flexible so we can move our icons where we want them and make a particular program be default ourselves. Also agree with the review complaining about the basic EQ adjustments available. These should be way more adjustable and fine tunable, particularly for musicians! At any rate sounds like they’re at least trying with the recent app update and firmware updates.
