No need to carry a separate remote control device or to touch your hearing aids. Simply and discreetly adjust the key parameters of your hearing aid without the need of Bluetooth. With the TONELINK app you can easily: - Change programs - Adjust volume - Mute and unmute your hearing aid - Change directional focus to aid listening How the TONELINK app works The TONELINK app uses your phone's speaker to transmit acoustic control signals for the hearing aids. You have to pair your hearing aids with your phone the first time you use the app. Just follow the steps, and please note that you might need to adjust your phone volume for the app to work. To ensure correct and safe operations: - This app is made for people with compatible WIDEX hearing aids fitted by a hearing care professional. - The sounds played by the phone may be audible by you and other people. The sound might be perceived as annoying by some people. - You can adjust the volume of these sounds by adjusting your phone volume to a level that is not annoyingly high and not too low for the hearing aids to pick up. - Do not use the app while the phone is directly by your or another person’s ears. - Do not use the app while connected to an external audio source. - This App is not tested on animals. Stop using the app if you notice any annoyed behavior from your pets when using it. The TONELINK app is compatible with the following WIDEX hearing aids: WIDEX EVOKE WIDEX is continually listing more compatible devices. Please visit our website for the latest devices we support. No updates in years or responses by the developer. It’s a shame. It was a very clever solution to use audio to trigger a response by the device, no Bluetooth required, no extra hardware -- ebcomm, 2022-05-07 ### *---- "Basic and not very helpful" You can’t see what program you’re on or even the volume level or whether it’s muted or not. Annoying. -- 7272253, 2021-05-26 ### *---- "Bug: No tones generated when pairing" Nothing heard from my iPhone 6s with iOS 13.4.1 even with sound turned up full-blast. Same thing with another iPhone 6s. Found nothing wrong with both phones’ speaker using a test app. However, works with my older iPhone 6 on iOS 12. Strange. -- bogogogogo, 2020-10-27 ### ****- "Does what it says, just not what I wanted" This app does what it says. But it is not a substitute for what the Evoke app is supposed to do. No indication of what program you are on, must toggle between programs instead of making it easier to enjoy many programs. Doesn’t tell you what volume you have either. But since the Evoke app does not work yet, this will has to do. -- RevHiD, 2019-09-17 ### ***** "Mr. Siadat" Dear app producers thank you so much for creating this app to help people on the world. Hope to be useful for all human who work with this app and I am sure it will be so great. Hope to be successful your company every time.
