I wanted to buy single ticket for metro, but I didn’t have an account. Went smooth at first - I selected the fare, filled in name and went to checkout and then I was asked to make an account or login. So I was like ok that should be fine, if I do with Apple ID. WRONG. I had to verify my apple id with email that was marked as spam. I was starting to be annoyed but I did verify with a faith I can finally get my single ticket. But then it asked me to fill in whole bunch of personal information!!! Here it is where I am angry as a user and working in tech and in product management I am annoyed with lousy work you folks did with login wall here. I ended up buying paper ticket even though I didn’t want to.

Onmogelijk om een account aan te maken. Je moet continu switchen tussen “log.wien” en de app. Het is 2024, waarom kan je niet met je contactloze bankpas betalen in het OV?

Als je bij deze app een ticket bestelt, moet je je eerst aanmelden bij logwien. Dat is een onmogelijke opgave; drie keer je gegevens invullen, drie keer een bevestiging beantwoorden en … dan lukt het nog steeds niet 😤.

The overall experience is miserable at least. You are forced to create an account to buy three tickets, and even if you decided to go through that process which i discourage anyone it take a long time to finish.
Then, you need to give age, address and all your life for three stupid tickets.
