It’s insane that we need to provide names, address etc to make an account on this. Why can’t we just buy a single ticket anonymously?! 

We used the ticket machines instead. TIP: in the oebb ticket machine, select city tickets

Tickets, routes, properly working map with stops.

What would be nice though is to somehow „lock” myself to a specific trip, because many times I’ve accidentally went out of the trip I was currently following while riding the bus, and I had to search for connection again, and the app wouldn’t display the same connection, so I had little difficulties to determine how am I exactly supposed to change to next tram/bus/subway on that particular trip. 

Also no clear indication if the ticket I have is valid for some means of transport, which were dosplayed in the app (trains and busses outside city core area)

The app needs a lot of personal data, which you enter as you watch your means of transportation drive away. It’s inconceivable that in the 21st century I have to manually enter my card details. Apple Pay was invented for a reason. What next, payment by cheque? Western union?

It could not be more complicated to buy a ticket. You have to renter password and card details each time. And why do I need to provide starting point - it could read it from localization data. What is more the payment process is ultra slow.
