## Wiingy Tutors Reviews in United States

### *---- "Horribly High Expectations"
I thought this was a great platform, and I wish I could say it is, but it’s not. The students and clients are lovely people. The admin, not so much, they are extremely demanding.

They expect you to accept demos even while sleeping, they chase away possible students, because they felt you didn’t teach right, and they blame you and drop your ratings. I’m constantly getting harassed by phone calls and texts about how I’m failing at demos. Demos are also scheduled so last minute. They will even be texting you constantly during teaching.

I’m sticking it out for the students I do have, but it’s not a recommended place to work.

### ***** "Best Tutor Experience!"
I’ve recently discovered the app because a friend recommended it to me. It is easy to use and I’ve been able to secure my first students within a week of using it!
Totally recommend it.
-- PamOV, 2026-07-21

### *---- "This can’t really work for people, right? RIGHT o_O?????"
I keep trying to hold out hope that I can, in fact, teach people to sing and make music… I mean, I’ve been doing it successfully outside this platform for years. But, for some reason, every lead I get connected to is SO interesting. Just finished a demo with a gramma and her 6-year-old granddaughter. Gramma assured me she had let WIINGY know it was for her 6yo granddaughter… well, in tutoring, psychological approach is very important, and nowhere at all was there any info about the client being 6 years old! Giant waste of time.

### ***** "Flexible tutoring app"
I’ve been a tutor for Wiingy since November 2025. The Wiingy team strives to make the app better everyday and it’s been a positive experience. I recommend the app for those who would like to tutor within a flexible schedule and the team is super patient with your requests.
-- Jesoltero, 2026-06-20

### ***** "Tutor"
The app is great,I’ve had no issue with it so far. When I first started I got lots of demos now it has become less. The wiingly staff provide so much support. Make sure you and your student access the class using the link provided or you might have issues with pay. Overall I’d say be patient with getting demos and students to enroll.

### *---- "Poor processes, tech issues, poor responsiveness"
I wish this were a better experience because I love the clients. The best part is the availability of leads who genuinely want to be helped.

However, the platform CONSTANTLY has technical issue. Like every other day there is something wrong. The team can be slow to respond or unresponsive all together. And when there is a response, plenty of times the issue doesn’t even get solved.

You get penalized for turning down too many leads, but they constantly double book demos or book demos at times you already have clients. You have to change availability so often because the calendar doesn’t sync to what’s already been booked through the company. To top it off, demos are always assigned last minute and sometimes they only give you a few minutes to reply.

There also is no process for late cancellations or no shows. You could schedule 30 sessions in a week and if no one shows up you don’t get compensated for your time. You don’t get a bonus or commission for selling the client, so even if you convert a lot it doesn’t mean you’re going to get paid well and that’s really frustrating.

I could go on because these are a few of many issues. It just is not enjoyable at all to work with the company, unfortunately.
-- Shakelfgxuanrba, 2026-04-24

### *---- "No functionality"
Won’t upload photos or type words or do anything useful
-- His Magiusty, 2026-03-26

### *---- "Not a realistic option for people who have other scheduling obligations."
The main complaint I have is that you can accept demos, but that doesn’t automatically get them- and the frustrating part that led me to delete my account is that they wait till last minute to allot demos, which means you actually get to teach them. The system with demos does not allow you to receive payment for them, so as a tutor you can easily be robbed of your time and effort. In addition, the way the app and website work for different functions feels broken and I was not given proper explanation of all that this complicates. I had to ask ChatGPT to figure out how certain things work.
-- wagonwheel15394), 2026-03-10

### *---- "Unprofessional and inadequate"
As an instructor for this platform I am left in the dark multiple times with no response from my own “support group” followed by repercussions that don’t pertain to any of my actions.
I’ve attempted numerous and countless approaches to get in touch with a representative only to be met with complacency.
-- SE Education, 2025-12-22

### ***** "Tutor app"
The app is easy to navigate and understand. It’s simple and straightforward to access and schedule sessions with student.
-- NormalTapTapPlayer, 2025-11-28

### ***** "Very neat platform"
Quite impressed with how seamless the process is. The onboarding complete with advisors every step of the way. Would definitely recommend to others in my network of educators and learners!
-- Poly-Tutor, 2025-11-19

### ***** "Piano Instructor Review"
Wiingy has provided a stable and responsive platform for me as an instructor. Working with my coordinator allows me to provide the most comprehensive experience possible to my demo students along with my happily enrolled students as well. It is an honor to connect with people who have the same creative desire to learn these skills together.
-- Danimals74, 2025-11-15

### ***** "Easy to use app"
They provide decent training and are organized on the platform!
-- Brian Schnebeck, 2025-10-30

### ***** "Spanish tutor"
My experience with Wiingy is being excellent so far. It is perfect to keep classes organized and connect with students. Also the Wiingy team is great. They are always responsive, helpful and truly dedicated to ensuring you and your students are getting a good experience.
-- Pao Botía, 2025-09-26

### ***** "As a tutor"
So far it’s been a good option for tutoring sessions. Sometimes there might be some issue with the internet connection and google meets as a platform but the overall experience has been good.
-- Hug g hungry, 2025-09-24

### ***** "Good service"
Just joined as a tutor, am pleased with support and ease of navigation of the app.
-- Disappointedreviewer111, 2025-09-11

### ***** "New Singing Tutor"
Seems like a good way to make a side income. Did my first demo with a student today which went really well, platform is very organized and staff is always available to help
-- Erika1846, 2025-09-02

### ****- "It’s good."
It’s a good option for freelance teachers. You feel guided throughout the process. Sometimes the app bugs, but overall it’s easy to use and tech support is always attentive!
-- Gwenvnn_, 2025-09-01

### ***** "Getting students quickly"
This is the only online platform where the administration consistently makes sure you know how to operate everything. Student requests come in quickly. Most platforms don’t offer this kind of leverage.
-- BigA1991, 2025-09-01

### ***** "Chemistry Tutor"
My experience with Wiingy has been very good and straight forward. The app is a great way to have everything organized and makes it easy to navigate different needs as a tutor. I great recommending for anyone trying to learn more or share your tutoring ability with great students!
