You Can Learn a Lot
The concept of this app is very simple, but brilliant. ‘Walk’ the map of any locale you wish and wiki articles will appear for specific sites as available. Houses, businesses, historic landmarks, parks…it’s a fascinating ‘mixed bag’.
I tested this app out out via walking my current city of residence and I learned more about my city in 30 minutes than I did just living here!
Well worth a (free!) download and explore. Enjoy!

Who Knew - I’m Surrounded with Wikipedia Articles!
What a great way to learn about the places around you, at home or when traveling!
Don’t buy
It won’t even open!
Meaningless photos and essentially advertising
I’m sure there must be useful information for some areas but I’m in longyearbyen which is remote and has a very interesting history. All the app is giving me is poor photography and essentially ads for places. Really a picture of two beer cans that’s an ad nothing else!!! Should be a useful app needs to be cleaned up of junk
Fantastic Idea and use of AR
Saw this talked about on Reddit and thought I'd give it a shot. Glad I did. The idea behind it is genius and it's a fantastic use of AR...and a lot of fun.
