An app that gives you all the information for everything.
The Wikipedia app gives you access to all the information for free. The app has some really nice settings. E.G. Choosing the font, size, and color of text. Choosing which information that appears on the home page. Plus so much more that I’m not thinking of atm. Wikipedia asks once a year for a donation of $2.75. If you, like myself, have found Wikipedia an invaluable resource then please give whatever size donation even if it’s just $1 or less. Everything helps keep this wonderful site and app from ever having ads or other unwelcome annoyances.
Used to be great, now it's not.
This app crashes on iOS 18 hardware. Just stick to the website version. This app has become superfluous for iOS 18 users.
Wikipedia App a must-have
The Wikipedia app works great for viewing Wikipedia pages, something I do daily. It has been improved over the years. I love having a page search icon available at the bottom. The one thing missing is a "forward" button to go with the "back" button!
App just used almost 6gb of my data!
If you’re having to use cellular please keep an eye on how much you data this damned app is using! Looked up one article and it used almost 6gb! Ruined my Christmas viewing plans!
Customizable
I just want to express my immense appreciation for the Wikipedia team for allowing us to customize explore. We’re losing that functionality more and more across major apps and seeing it alive and well on Wikipedia reaffirms how much I love this digital space
