Wikipédia is freedom

wonderzzzzz on

Canada

Please do not listen the man who said to stop donating to Wikipedia on December 24th . Wikipedia is one of the keys to keep making our world better . Allowing anybody, poors or riches kids or aduls, men or women, scholars or factory workers, to access a unbelievable amount of knowledge for free . This is the single most important pillars of a society founded on the principle of FREEDOM. The freedom to educate ourselves, to stimulate our curiosity and to lead us towards a world where anyone has a chance to fulfill their dreams . If you believe in freedom and can think by yourself, you will know what to do. Wikipedia is one most important website. It’s a heritage of the internet and of our society based on FREEDOM.

Works fine but far too Ameri-centric

luxborealis on

It’s getting more and more difficult to find English-language articles that are NOT centred around the United States. There are millions of us around the world that speak English, but are not American. It would be nice to have a version of Wiki that catered to us.

Solid app but…

Would be nice to be able to jump back and forth between tabs. Also to be able to see statistics like article views.

I’ve been pioneering the internet since public launch. I have been using Wikipedia ever since it was created.

rats

eff you die on

Canada

This website is full of moles and liers and brainless rats that attack people and then wonder how that person became the way they did. Hmmmmm I wonder....?!

Handy, but seems to have a start up bug

MotoDC on

Canada

I really enjoy the app. One feature specifically is the light/dark mode following the devices settings. However, with the last update I can no longer follow links outside of the app to an article. It just shows the last article I viewed. I removed and reinstalled the app hoping that would fix it, but it did not.

Can’t read image descriptions

Ericana87 on

Canada

Image descriptions on dark mode are impossible to see without phone on max brightness. Happened 2 or more updates ago and still no fix

Works as expected

picettifrancesco on

Canada

It would be really nice to have multiple tabs (as a browser) to quickly jump from a page to another.
