Top articles widget have not worked for months now

King of App Reviews on

You just get a blank widget. Deleting and reinstalling solves nothing. Only if you open the app and go to the trends to open an article solves this short term. But a few hours later the widget is blank again. This is the only widget on my phone not working properly so I believe it is an issue with Wikipedia. But they have not fixed it for months now

What’s going on?!!!!

aldolini49 on

My app after the latest update is totally out of function!!!!! There is a circle which is turning around and says “Updating”?!!!!!!!!!!!

Wikipedia might be the most important site . . .

schacks on

. . but the app still needs some work. While it does access Wikipedia competently it does have some quirks. Like when the article text is somehow moveable from side to side on both iPhone and iPad. You still can’t set the app to follow device theme.

Can’t search

Bobalicious123455 on

I can’t search, all of a sudden?

Bad Safari integration

DonSkjolborg on

If you spawn Wikipedia from Safari it is nearly impossible to return to Safari at it keeps launching Wikipedia app.

The is as such ok, but utterly superfluous since there is a better web version.
