Big dislike to Microsoft (Janis)

Doesn't show all text, works very slow. Fonts isn't correct. Impossible to read text in small preview window. (there you type an IP address. There is a some Chinese letters, instead of English letters)

I was waiting for so long to get the iPad OS External Desktop support only to see my most used iPad app not being able to go fullscreen on full HD display ☹️

Background app refresh

mrfreereviews on

United States

2024 Jul 23- why does this app not have background app refresh? As soon as my device locks I lose connection. I sometimes even lose connection when switching to a different app for a few mins. 2022 Feb 1 update- still no portrait orientation that was said to be available 2021 Dec. Will portrait orientation ever be available? This is useful on Android and would be awesome on iPhone.

No way to sign in with a password-less account

My Microsoft account has no password, but the only authentication method this app gives is with a password, so I have no way of remotely accessing my machine without making a new account.

Reliably good App with a Virtual Machine Keyboard Problem.

KBKowBoy on

This RDP App is very useful connecting to my windows machines unless they are virtual. If I launch either a VirtualBox machine (Win10-64 or Linux-64) or the same using Hyper-V, the the IOS keyboard does not map correctly to the virtual machine. Even if I enable VirtualBox’s Remote Desktop, I am able to connect, but unable to login. When I use Win10-64’s native RDP, I am able to connect and the keyboard functions as desired.

hijack keyboard shortcut

pleasehopethisnameisnottaken on

United States

as good as it supports hardware acceleration, the keyboard shortcut hijack is atrocious. all win key is hijacked to achieve some uninvited cmd-a c v x t thing in windows. as a result all win key shortcut now doesn't work! to make it worse, even regular shortcut and single key doesn't work like other app, it can be easily tested in blender, rendering the app completely useless. also for who know what reason, even on keyboard that have pageup pagedown key, you need some very creative shortcut to achieve it, again, not an issue in other third party client. the worst part is, after wreaking all the havoc, one would expect it hijack ios shortcut as well, but it doesn't! if you press ctrl + space, that ios keyboard pops up revealing the now changed language. can't you just send the key as is?
