## Windy Lookout Description
Windy Lookout's main function is to work as an early alert system for lake recreational users. Its purpose and goal is 3 fold: Detection, Alert and Safety.

Current weather conditions and forecasts are readily available through many free services. As many lake recreational users will tell you, the problem arises when unpredictable sudden weather changes happen on the lake. For the sailing community, it is especially important to beware of potentially dangerous high wind speeds. Not only will these create rough conditions on the lake but if you are caught unprepared, the winds can knock down sailboats.

Windy Lookout analyzes and processes many current wind conditions beyond the perimeter of the lake to give users an early alert should a dangerous wind arise. We process this information in real-time to give users an alert allowing them to make the necessary decisions to stay safe in the minutes before the wind hits.

Headed out on calm early afternoon from Lindon Marina. We were out for about 30 minutes with winds at about 5 knots then, oh boy, the wind gusted to 26 knots. 

Sailing is as they say, “95 percent boredom and 5 percent terror.” We experienced the 5 percent at that point.

When we returned to the Marina we were asked if we had the app, we didn’t but do now. We use the app religiously.

I have been on Utah lake when the winds have come up. It is not all that fun. One thing I find helpful is that I don’t live real close to the lake and sometimes the wind seems calm at my house. Now I can know if it is too windy to hit the lake before I leave home. I would like to see a place to set the times when I get alerts. I don’t necessarily need the alerts in the middle of the night.  I think this is a very helpful app.

I believe this app will help me stay safe while on the Utah Lake.  Although I have not had a chance to use it it yet.  I sure it will be beneficial.  

Just a thought you should dial in on places where people actually launch boats. For example Lincoln Beach etc.

I am wondering If there is a bug on the alert history page because the text is double layered when using it on my iPhone 8. I have a screen shot. Will revise rating later. Thanks for making this!
