Simply the best app for weather planning VFR and IFR trips ✈️

Love this Weather App

This is my go to app when travelling around Europe! When I compare it to others Windy always comes out tops. I totally recommend it.

Good but very complicated

I have cancelled my yearly subscription as this app has got so very much going on, it has become so very complicated. It’s a good app but it’s just bloated with so much stuff you have to learn about. Scale back guys, make things simpler and easier to view instead of all the differing layers! Sorry, I at least I gave you a try for £18.49.

Cruising onboard Swallow

Tried all weather apps for sailing and over a good period of time too. I have often made notes of how the weather is forecast by the different apps and found windy more often than not to be the best. Though none are perfect windy is as good as they get. I sail around the Irish Sea mostly in all conditions and cover about 1.5-2k nm per year on a small boat so weather is quite important to me.

Good information on wind and weather for any one interested in outdoor activities like sailing

Great Weather App

Much better than Met Office and BBC weather apps which look like kiddies games beside this app. Loads of useful features for different sports and outdoor activities, different measurements and the 3D version on a laptop/computer is very useful. You can select from 4 or 5 different computer models of the weather covering your area and compare them. There could be improvements but they seem to be doing these as they go along which means it keeps getting better.
