Decided to give it a go as was getting so frustrated with receiving dat files on my phone when sent from my work Outlook account. Worked perfectly. Hopefully it continues to work as well going forward. Decided to pay the $1.50 to get rid of ads. Hopefully a small payment like that gets you the more stable version. Relieved!
Nothing more to add
Thanks for making this app. Perfect.
Opens those annoying Winmail.dat files on the fly. As advertised, in-app purchase (only $1.49) is completely OPTIONAL. The app is functional without forcing you to pay. If you use it enough to be annoyed by the ads, then shell out the pennies; otherwise, it is free to use. Why can’t Apple and Microsoft just get along?
I received an email with an Invoice attached in Winmail.dat format which I could not open. I chose this App as it was compatible with iPhone 7+. It is a free App and has optional in-app-purchase for $1.49 to remove ads. After downloading the App I went to my email and pressed on the attachment until the Winmaildat Opener App appeared. Then I selected the App and then the Invoice attachment. The Invoice was readable straight away - very happy.
Total waste of money I bought this to open a specific file I needed to access and 2 days later it still won’t open.
Works well, does everything it says it will do. Opens my winmail.dat files
Works exactly as it says. Brilliant.
Without paying extra
