• This is the legacy version of Wipr, intended only for users of older versions of iOS and macOS.
• Wipr 2 is now available, and it is strongly recommended for all users running at least iOS 17 or macOS 14 Sonoma. Search for “Wipr 2” in the App Store or find it in the “More by” section below!
Wipr blocks all ads, trackers, cryptocurrency miners, EU cookie and GDPR notices, and other annoyances, so you can focus on the content that matters to you.
It works in Safari and all apps that use Safari to display web pages.

Web pages load a lot faster with Wipr, and much less needs to be downloaded. Your mobile devices will love this.

Wipr prevents countless trackers from invading your privacy. Wipr itself cannot, nor wants to, know what you do on the web.

By using a new technology called Content Blocking Extensions, Wipr can do its job without slowing down Safari at all.

Toimii nykyään myös Safarin Youtubessa. Erittäin kevyt ja nopea sovellus sekä täällä, että Macissa. Mikä parasta sovellus kehittäjä on mukavan oloinen kaveri, joka välittää sovelluksesta eikä vain rahan teosta. 1Blockerin kehittäjä taas on nuorehko venäläinen kaveri, joka haastatteluissa flexaa rahoilla ja siitä kuinka tekee sovelluksillaan rahaa. Helppo valinta ainakin minulle!

Oli aluksi hyvä.
Mutta onko kehittäjä alkanut myymään whitelist paikkoja mainostajille?! Tulee viikkoviikolta mainoksia enemmän läpi? Täytyy alkaa etsimään jotain muuta appsia jos asia ei korjaannu.

Does everything it says it does, seamlessly. It’s initial activation is about the easiest thing I’ve ever had to do to get an app up and running. And, since activating it, I’ve quite literally had to do nothing to keep my webpages neat and clean - since Wipr does all that for me in the background - out of sight and out of mind.
Lame Developer
Paid for this one a few months back, I now see the developer released a new app instead of updating this one. No upgradeable path from this one to the new one. Do not support them!!
Doesn’t work
Pay for an app, doesn’t even ad block, find out there is a new version that has no free/discounted upgrade available. What a joke, just use Adguard free and be done with it.
