I understand you have to make money do whatever you want its your app but What differentiate wipr from wipr2 what does it do that the first iteration doesn’t? and why isn’t the upgrade available as purchase in the first app installing apps takes up space in iPhone storage isnt efficient to put it in to the existing app and to ask a in app purchase for the new improvements with a price tag its easier than installing yet another app

Tried everything, but it didn’t block any ads.
Via Safari kijk ik vaak programma’s die in Nederland niet beschikbaar zijn. Normaal werd ik altijd gek van dat ik eerst heel veel reclame moest wegklikken en vervolgens 6x een nieuw tabblad moest weghalen. Dit probleem is helemaal verholpen door deze app! Top!
Blokkeert totaal niks! Zonde van de investering!
Alles goed ingesteld maar nog steeds volop reclame in Safari. Miskoop.
For at least the last 3 or four updates, according to d3ward.github.io, Wipr doesn’t block a couple of major trackers anymore.
Doesn’t slow Safari down as much as AdGuard does but isn’t as effective. Ads on websites like Tweakers.net slip through and also getting a lot of cookie notices.
Werkt super, heb zowel de macOS als de iOS versie gekocht en werken beide perfect. Kom echt nooit meer ads tegen en heb maar 3x tegen gekomen dat door de adblocker ik niet meer verder kon kijken of de site of dat er een cookie pop-up was die je moet accepteren voordat je verder kan gaan maar zodra dat gebeurd kan je gewoon even je refresh knop inhouden en dan dat even accepteren en weer verder gaan. Zou wel nog leuk zijn als het mogelijk is om een eigen custom adlist/regix zou kunnen toevoegen (ik weet niet of regix bijv mogelijk is) maar de standard lijst is eigenlijk al genoeg.
Krijg gewoon reclames op YouTube te zien!
