WIRED Magazine Reviews

Poor app

John Spiegel on

India

The app gets stuck every now and then. Once you switch back and forth from some other app, the article is stuck and you have to restart the app and search the article again to continue.

The app misses the basic requirements.

RahulGautam00 on

India

It is April 2020, and Wired, even after basically being a tech magazine has not responded to the previous complaints which require very basic things. These include: a night mode, ability to turn to landscape, ability to download the magazine on the background. Anyone thinking of subscribing digital only, please take note of these before going forward as it makes for a pretty bad experience.

Terrible download speed

rama_rush on

India

With new app the speeds have gone down the tube

It’s almost 2020, and a tech magazine still can’t figure out landscape mode?

Sahitanand on

India

I almost never use my iPad on portrait mode. I write, read and use it as I would any other laptop. And yet, it is incredibly annoying to me that I have to read this magazine is portrait mode. Come on guys, I’m sure you guys can figure this out.

No nonsense app, simple, gets job done

chaitanyadamu on

This app is just to download the magazines nothing more. And I like it for that.

My favorite magazine is not my favorite app

Samrudh on

India

For all the bells an whistles the Wired app comes with I am not sure if they have created the world's best magazine app. 300 MB downloads, no background downloads. Where's the problem Wired??

No background downloading

KaranG11 on

India

Every time I have to open up the app and keep my iPad on for sometime and wait for it to be download . Background and new issues should be downloaded automatically on wifi. These magazines are at least 300 MB and it takes an hour for one issue to be downloaded fully.

Horrible App— Fix this immediately

raulyintheback on

United States

App keeps claiming that I need a subscription to view magazines even though I already have one and am logged in. I sent out an email to customer support. We’ll see what they say but man. I mean, a hackathon group can create a more functional app than this in like 3 days. Extremely disappointed.

It’s just the rag

Nickname that no one else has on

United States

This iPad app only shows a regurgitation of the Wired magazine, page for page, without even as much as links within the table of contents, unlike the Android & iPhone apps that cover everything Wired.

Useless app

SethSea on

United States

This app makes no effort to work on an iPhone size screen. It simply displays a replica of the print magazine - big pages that have minuscule type you cannot read or zoomed in that become difficult to navigate. Why did Wired Magazine bother creating this app?
