How much does WIRED Magazine cost?
WIRED Magazine has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 80.00 r.
Old and outdated app without features such as highlighting in articles, searching for specific articles or wording. Wired is a great magazine oriented on tech and the future. It would be nice of them to also have an app with that look and feel and features. This is just a glorified e-reader.
Cannot download any issues since iOS 7
Not able to download anything since iOS 7. For a magazine that needs to be downloaded, that is a bad thing. Guess my subscription fee is just a waste of money. No response from wired support.
No auto download, requires babysitting 600 mb downloads
Downloads pause when the app enters background, or when the screen turns off. Downloading 500-600 mb of magazine requires babysitting the iPad and touching it until the download is compete, during which time you are unable to use your pad for anything.
Enable auto or background downloading and I will recommend the app, because the magazine is amazing.
Awesome
My favorite magazine in my favorite "wrapping". Excellent reading experience, wonderful interactive elements and great content.
Conde Nast is the worst
This magazine just suddenly stopped launching, just like New Yorker some time before. Conde Nast is the producer of both apps and I'm starting to see a pattern here. Unsubscribed from both magazines.
Great App!
Amazing version of the magazine! Includes a lot of interactivity and multimedia. Issues are pretty cheap aswell.
Not Wired in China
This magazine will not download in China where I am based.
The publisher never bothered to answer my e-mail asking for support.
Perhaps not worth their time after I had paid.
Made for the iPad
If any magazine was ever made for the iPad, Wired is!
Perfect fit for tis new reading experience!
Good content, but...
300 MB download, no background d/l. Useless.
Could have been great
Had it not been for the extreamly annoying selfplaying ads, it would have been a great app. A 'magazine' is supposed to be quit, one would think. At least until the reader presses some play button. Wired needs to fix this before I pay for an iPad issue.
