Controlling the bulb works fine. The problems come when trying to make schedules for the bulb. They will work properly for the first couple times and then out of nowhere will turn on 15 minutes before they are scheduled to. Otherwise an okay app
I have 6 of the Wiz lightbulbs and I really like the different colors and options for the lights themselves but the app only works about half the time. Most of the time you can only change the color a time or two before having to close out the app and reopen it. I have also been unable to change any of the settings and it won’t let me add my roommate as a member. I have had them in 3 different places and on 3 different WiFi’s so I know that’s not the problem. Overall I recommend the app and lights as long as you want to be the only one to control them and you don’t want to change the color of them that much.
i have to switch between the two apps every month because the light completely stops responding. the lighting schedule with still work but i cannot edit it. which doesn’t seem like a hassle, but the whole reason I got smart lights was for convenience. normal lighting seems better than going through the whole set up process every month for each light in my apartment
It said device detected clock here to pair and nothing would happen over and over and over and over I even went to Bluetooth to see if there was a pairing request or device to connect to I turned it on and off several times closed the app and restarted but just nothing worked so I'm returning the lights and deleting the app will buy another brand.
I recently have begun updating all of my home light bulbs to smart bulbs. I spent years procrastinating on doing this project because I assumed it would be difficult to set up. Well I have been shown that this is much easier than I originally thought. Everything is step by step and I like that a lot. My living room is my favorite. I have the bulbs come on at a 6pm and then change to a more relaxing color and lower light output 1 hr before bedtime.
my light would flicker for no reason and i checked the app for anyway to fix this yet i couldn’t find anything so i would just have to wait a while for it to stop blinking or just leave the light off. Other than that issue its a great light and has good modes. It lit up my room nicely and the color options were very customizable. I definitely recommend it just be careful of the flickering (it might’ve been a problem on my part so there may be no need to worry).👍
Awful app
The OLD app was awful & I had a sigh of relief when I saw there was a newer one so I downloaded it only to find out the newer app is even WORSE then the original. I can’t change my lights, they don’t pulse & when I go to the help center on the app it tells me “cannot load”. I’m very annoyed.
My brother gifted me a lightbulb for my birthday and I’ve had it for years! I love it. So convenient, I have so many now!
Whoever designed this app is not good at their job. All the bulbs in my home are $10 white only bulbs. Bring back the legacy app and quit trying to grab extra cash from your customers
