## Wizard Description
The official iPhone version of the card game Wizard.

Meet the card game that's challenging, habit-forming and loads of fun! It's Wizard: a unique game with a 60 card deck!

The rules are simple and easy to learn... mastering the strategy is the real challenge. One card is dealt to each player on the first round, two cards on the second, and so on. Players bid the number of tricks they think they will win. Make the exact number of tricks bid and you win points; too many or too few and you lose points. The Wizard and Jester cards add a "wild card" element to the strategy.

Play against the sophisticated built-in AI players, or choose a network game of up to 4 friends playing over the internet.

## Wizard Reviews in United States

### ***-- "RIGGED!"
The game itself is a great idea but the BOTS know your hand and work against You to ensure your bid is incorrect. Best played with other REAL people, NOT FUN to lose every frick'n time in Solo mode !
-- Muffdoggy, 2026-01-04

### ****- "Would be 5 stars with 2 changes"
You can play this without being on the same wifi network, so that is wonderful. Plays just like the real game. Two changes would help:
1. Allow orientation to change to landscape if players turn their phone to make it easier to see your hand.
2. Enable this app for download on a windows computer (not just Apple) so we could play without straining our eyes.
Thank you for making this. It’s our family’s favorite card game!
-- jeneschulz, 2024-02-18

### ***** "Old but good"
I love Wizard, and although this app is clearly outdated and runs like it’s made for iPhone 4, this app feels just like a real Wizard game. The CPUs are somewhat predictable but vary in skill, just like a real game. The only downfall is the online aspect of the game, which could benefit from being able to actually play against real people. You can change house rules and scoring, and the game runs smooth.
-- ERICKSONSTUD, 2023-12-11

### ***** "Excellent card game"
I’ve tried a lot of solo card games, and this one is one of the best. It plays really well in every way. I like that you can adjust a lot of settings if you want. And I love that it saves progress at all times if you quit the app. That makes it perfect if you only have a minute or two.

The AI is good, the file size is small, and it’s good on battery. I appreciate the fair premium price with no ads, IAPs or subs.

I’ll be playing this a lot. It’s easy to learn but there’s definitely a strategy. It’s challenging but not frustrating. I’m really enjoying it. Thank you developer!

### ***** "Very nice app"
I was hesitant about buying this app because of the mixed reviews, but after about a week of playing it a ton (in single-player mode) I can say it is works well, is stable, and provides a fun and solid gameplay experience. I have the feeling the earlier versions may not have been as well quality-controlled, but as of mid 2022 it’s a app great and a really enjoyable game.

### ****- "Spoke in error….update my rating !"
Apologies galore… couldn’t get to the rules screen on my new device to begin with ‘. The user indeed can specify the appropriate rules to make competition as tough as desired. So sorry …I hope the first review can be overwritten. The only star missing would be to make it playable live across family in other states…
-- cloudflier, 2022-01-29

### *---- "Not accurate"
Rounds aren’t accurate. One round had me win with a Jester, when another player played a trump.
Don't buy.
-- oncodoc, 2021-08-23

### **--- "Awesome game"
Awesome game and nice touch to make cards look like actual game. However, the app is super slow and laggy. Please fix this. And add multiplayer
-- bigblue_1990, 2021-07-19

### ***** "Great Game"
One of my favorites! So easy to get going.
-- ItsMeCeleste, 2021-06-21

### *---- "Too slow"
I loved playing this but the app barely works anymore. It’s so slow you could read a book between hands. Such a bummer.
