## WKYT News Reviews in United States

### **--- "Forced video ads"
Video and audio ads as soon as I open a story. Annoying and loud when in public. App content is not arranged well. Deleted it.
-- Zzdone, 2025-01-03

### ***-- "Too many"
I adore WKYT, but the app disappoints me in that there are just too many choices and I feel like I am always missing something. I am far from computer illiterate, but this app overwhelms me as soon as I open it. Sorry, just my opinion.
-- cgfitssy, 2024-12-12

### *---- "Sound"
Stop overtaking the sound just because I open the app!
-- Long-time Castro User, 2024-12-11

### *---- "Too biased"
Substandard app from a terrible news source. Freezing is common and the social media links go to posts where WKYT crews have selectively manipulated and deleted comments that reflect their biased reporting. Find a better app from a more reliable and professional news source.
-- Shafted., 2024-12-11

### *---- "News search🤷‍♀️"
WKYT has always been my go to app since I moved from KY. But in the last few weeks there are so many adds and popups you can’t even find the news. Back to WLEX.
-- Barberbev, 2024-12-10

### **--- "Old articles"
Why are the tv stations keep showing old news every day and night ? It’s the same thing sometimes up to 3 weeks
-- RockandRudy, 2024-12-09

### *---- "Ads are awful and stopping music is infuriating"
I get that you need ad revenue to pay for things, but please get rid of the splash screen ad. It is insanely annoying that ads pop up in a language I can’t understand pop up and I can’t close them without visiting Temu or some other website. Also, the app taking over the music output is ridiculous. Why would you even do that? Please fix these.
-- JamesR1115, 2024-12-06

### ***** "Wkyt"
always enjoy wkyt for shows ,news, and weather daily.
-- b.j ., 2024-09-18

### ****- "WKYT App"
Your app needs to have font sizes so that folks that have site issues can read it better. Your station also seems very bias and one sided politically.
-- kjvis4me, 2024-09-17

### **--- "Takes over sound output"
Very frustrating that this app takes over sound output as soon as it is opened even though in not playing a news video. Often, I am listening to music or iHeart and I get a news alert so I open the app and it disconnects my audio. Why???? I understand if I open a news video it would takeover the audio but simply opening the app SHOULD NOT!!! No other news app does this!
