I don’t know what your update has done to the app, but three times this morning I’ve tried to use ApplePay and PayPal to pay for my ticket and three times I’ve received an “Oops, there’s a problem” message. Now I have to go to a ticket office to pay for the ticket. I’m just hoping it’s actually open when I get there. Please fix it.

When I compare to other apps, it is years behind. For example, a train gets cancelled and I bought the tickets through the app, there is absolutely no notification. Even when you search for the train it is difficult to figure out it has been cancelled.

Not to mention that the other apps in case of cancellation or delays apply for the compensation automatically, but with this app you have to do manually.

Only good thing is that you buy tickets in advance without fees.

### ***** "Flexi season tickets are really useful"
Been using this app (and it’s predecessor) for years. Does the job regarding live trains, so I can monitor where they are on the journey too. Now I use the flexi season option, where you can buy 8 tickets in a bundle at a slightly lower price. Really handy as I go in the office (at least) twice a week. Just remember you have to use them within the month.

I do the same journey once a week. No problem getting through. E Ticket is great. Pay with Applepay. Then can look up for delays or cancellations. Live times are good. Works well!

This app is absolutely useless. Every time you put in your travel details it just says “oops there’s a problem”. If it does present you with options it says “not available to buy”. I can only assume that this is done on purpose to increase their fines revenue, as the ticket machines don’t work either and the ticket office window is permanently closed.

I found it very straightforward requested an open return for 5 people, however after it applied the discount it changed to a day return so just be observant on what you ask for and what you get

On the whole, this app works well for booking tickets. All local trains.

Only downside I’ve found so far is that when you are looking for a specific time for your train it gives a list with lots of times much earlier than the one you might want, but if you want to see times that are slightly later, you have to go to the next page and flick back and forth to see your best option.
