Bounces around on the page, keeps reloading. Useless as is. -- Hgyt, 2024-08-19 ### **--- "Crashes too often" App used to be good, now constantly crashes. Recent updates made it even worse. Needs to be resolved! -- N/A_9!, 2024-08-15 ### *---- "Continuous Resets" In mid 2024 the sites on all Hearst Media stations keep reverting to the home page unexpectedly when accessing a story. Both WGAL in PA and WMTW in Maine do this. -- SeaRay290, 2024-07-24 ### **--- "Sound issues" App will continue to play audio or restart audio after being closed (not force closed, leaving the app normally). In a first for me, last night I was woken up when it randomly started playing an ad long after the app was closed. This was on an iPhone 13 and there was no way to stop it since it didn’t appear in the “now playing” control panel section. It stopped when I force quit the app - it was a pretty easy guess which app was doing it. -- MaybeOneMore, 2024-04-04 ### **--- "Ads giving off bells and sounds" I’m deleting the app. I liked it for local news but now certain game ads give off shrill whistles and sounds. Jumped me the first time it happened. And it doesn’t turn off until the app is closed. News isn’t worth the annoyance. Bye. -- SLK2019, 2023-08-30 ### *---- "Just ads" Downloaded this app today. Tried to check weather but just saw your “tech tips” segment followed by 8 ads. No weather report, wish I could give zero stars. -- BlueB0mber, 2023-05-03 ### **--- "Stops working" App stops working. Just keeps trying to download. I’ve deleted it and reloaded then after a while it happens again. Pain -- lorna711, 2023-04-24 ### *---- "Trouble app" Just couldn’t be able to stroll -- Mainer66, 2023-04-24 ### ***-- "App Notifications No Longer Working" WMTW 8 is our favorite local news station and when I first downloaded the app about 3 years ago, I would get the news updates with the WMTW “theme” song, however, that hasn’t happened for a long time. All the notifications are on according to the app info. I still use the app several times a day. Thanks for all you do! Jennie L. Cote -- @JennieCote16, 2023-03-19 ### *---- "No IOS Apple Tv access to WMTW." It’s a shame I have to get my local news from Boston because no one in northern New England offers. Local news on AppleTV. Hard to understand. And misleading. -- tommiinello, 2023-01-15 [View all WMTW News 8 reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## WMTW News 8 Discovered Keywords - portland - maine - wmtw news 8 ## Apps Similar to WMTW News 8 - [necn: New England Local News](https://apptail.io/app/necn-new-england-local-news-fgP/united-states) - [7 News HD - Boston News Source](https://apptail.io/app/7-news-hd-boston-news-source-YgP/united-states) - [Press Herald Headlines](https://apptail.io/app/press-herald-headlines-MmP/united-states) - [Maine Public Broadcasting App](https://apptail.io/app/maine-public-broadcasting-app-NmP/united-states) - [NEWS CENTER Maine](https://apptail.io/app/news-center-maine-OmP/united-states) - [WTNH News 8](https://apptail.io/app/wtnh-news-8-QPtc/united-states) - [WGME 13 News](https://apptail.io/app/wgme-13-news-tpvc/united-states) - [WABI 5](https://apptail.io/app/wabi-5-vpvc/united-states) - [Central Maine Headlines](https://apptail.io/app/central-maine-headlines-Dpvc/united-states) - [Bangor Daily News](https://apptail.io/app/bangor-daily-news-goSc/united-states) ## WMTW News 8 Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/wmtw-news-8-portland-maine-QmP/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/wmtw-news-8-portland-maine-QmP/canada) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/wmtw-news-8-portland-maine-QmP/brazil) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
